JOB SUMMARY: The purpose of this position is to assist the nurses in the providing of resident care primarily in the area of the daily living routine. QUALIFICATIONS: Must hold a current Certified Nurse's Assistant certificate in the State of Illinois. A high school diploma is preferred. Must have the ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with professional and non-professional personnel. Must be able to read, write, and speak English in an understandable manner. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must be physically and mentally capable of performing routine, repetitive job duties. Show willingness to provide good nursing care. Knowledge of JCAHO, OBRA, IDPH, and HFS regulations as related to duties. MAIN DUTIES: Support the facility's philosophy of care and strive to achieve its goals and objectives. Be sensitive to residents' families and respond in an appropriate professional way as the situation requires. Carry out assignments for resident care including (but not limited to): a) bathing b) dressing c) grooming d) shaving e) feeding f) restorative nursing procedures g) retraining Keep residents' bed, dresser, bathroom, and general living area clean and tidy. Answer call lights promptly. Help check in all new residents and re-admissions, as well as assist in the transfer of residents to different rooms. Put resident's clothing away properly. Report any changes in resident's condition--e.g. eating habits, behavior, temperature, etc. to the charge nurse of the unit. Turn bedridden residents every two (2) hours or sooner as indicated. Wash, clean, and dry all incontinent residents. Assist the treatment nurse as assigned. Complete assignment report to charge nurse at the end of every shift. Be responsible for well-being and nursing care of all residents assigned to his/her unit while on duty. Take vital signs and monthly weights (with assistance) and record results in EMR. Document the following in the EMR for all assigned residents: a) vital signs b) weight c) meal monitoring d) bowl and bladder e) restorative records Detect and report situations that have a high probability of causing accidents or injuries to residents and/or staff. Assure that work/assignment areas are clean and free of hazardous conditions, i.e. spills, excess carts, etc. and that equipment, tools, supplies, etc. are properly stored while working, as well as before leaving such areas for breaks, meal times, and end of the work day. Assure that established infection control and universal precaution practices are maintained when performing nursing procedures. Follow established safety precautions when performing tasks and when using equipment and supplies. Assure that equipment is cleaned and prepared for the next shift. Assure that work schedules are followed. Maintain the confidentiality of resident information and honor his/her personal and property rights. Attend nursing department, Care Plan, and other meetings as directed by the DON or ADON. Attend and participate in in-service educational classes and on-the-job training programs as scheduled or as directed. Turn in Days Off and payroll special request forms in a timely manner. Follow established fire, disaster, safety, infection control, and evacuation policies and procedures. Perform other related duties as directed by the DON, ADON, charge nurse, or the Administrator. Your Job The Production Supervisor takes charge of collaborating with other supervisors to effectively oversee and coordinate the activities of production and operations staff across various departments. Key responsibilities include driving clear communication between departments regarding orders, rigorously monitoring daily workflows, and decisively managing any adjustments needed to the production schedules. What You Will Do * Plan work schedules and assign duties to maintain adequate staffing levels, to ensure that activities are performed effectively, and to respond to fluctuating workloads. * Data entry for production lines. * Coordinates with other supervisors on daily schedule, workflow, personnel issues, etc. * Collaborate with workers and managers to solve work-related problems. * Review work throughout the work process and at completion, in order to ensure that it has been performed properly. * Check specifications of materials loaded or unloaded against information contained in work orders. * Inform designated employees or departments of items loaded, and problems encountered. * Evaluate employee performance. * Prepare and maintain work records and reports. * Fills in for any area, employee, or department as needed. * Process the orders in order to communicate material flow, and follow up on rush, sample or shortage orders. * Check all equipment, tools, PPE to be sure all is in proper & safe condition. * Ensure that workers are using personal protective equipment, complying with all safety policies and using safe work practices. * Coordinates with the Human Resource Department and Plant Management to document infractions and discipline employees for poor performance, violation of safety practices, and other policy/rule violations, as necessary. * Report changes in production that affect the essential job duties, minimum job requirements and possible safety hazards for jobs in areas of responsibility to the HR Department to ensure job descriptions and JSAs are kept current. * Check quality of material coming into departments and monitor the status of various orders. * Show operators how styles are to be fabricated and assist in the training of new employees in those operations. * Expedite necessary orders through the plant. * Assist in making sure all raw materials are ordered as needed. * Relay any necessary information to plant personnel. * Perform quality checks. * All other duties as assigned. In our facility, we provide DFM evaluation, design and architecture, NPI management and manufacturing for various types of custom busbar solutions that include: rigid, multi-layer laminated and flexible busbar configurations. The Project Engineer will lead the design and development activities from concept to production for new custom busbar solutions for a variety of customers and industries. What You Will Do In Your Role * Develop new product designs handling all phases required to bring concepts into production. * Interact directly with customers in design phases to verify customer requirements and make design recommendations; read and interpret customer drawings. * Lead design-for-manufacturing (DFM) taking into consideration cost effective manufacturing materials and processes. * Full design cycle accountability. * Work directly with supporting design engineers and follow all product development steps from raw material to fabrication, machining, forming, plating, install through shipping. * Work with manufacturing teams to develop and establish cost estimates and project options. * Travel to visit customers and manufacturing facilities when necessary. * Responsible for follow-up, expediting all action items of a new product program. * Interface with external clients and internal partners to ensure design objectives are met in a timely manner and assists by providing product information, engineering samples and technical advice. * Perform hands-on activities including mechanical screen tests, prototype fabrication, and part measurements.
