Some of the equipment is as follows. Programmable logic controllers. Variable speed drives. Various industrial communication protocols. Electrical power distribution equipment such as feeder breakers, switches, transformers, and associated relays. AC induction motors, DC motors, AC synchronous motors and controls. Various process variable transmitters, various types of valves, associated distributed control system hardware, PLC’s, and associated process instrumentation. The responsibilities of the E&I Journeyman will include but not limited to the following: Industrial Electrical and Instrumentation plant maintenance to include preventative maintenance tasks and troubleshooting plant equipment. The ability to read and understand electrical schematics, loop sheets, process and instrumentation diagrams, and equipment manuals. The ability to understand and troubleshoot various forms of control logic, such as ladder logic, and function block diagrams. The ability to use and understand various types of test equipment such as calibration equipment, digital multi-meters, megohmmeters, and HART communicators. Must possess a working knowledge of electrical safety precautions and procedures for example, LOTO, NFPA-70E. Responsible for troubleshooting and repair of all electrical and control equipment throughout the mill. Use of data historian software for trending and or tuning loops for efficiency. The Ability to work rotating shifts (southern swing) Perform duties as part of the Incident Response Team and participate as a fire brigade member. What you need to succeed: Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs, Honeywell and Valmet DCS, Allen Bradely Powerflex Drives, and/or GE DC Drives preferred. Available to work overtime as required. Job Description Link Solutionsis seeking a Telecommunications Specialist to join our team inWest Point, NY. Must be a US Citizen Must possess aDoDSecret Clearance The Telecommunications Specialistwill oversee and optimize the performance and functionality of the telecommunications systems in support of the Network Enterprise Center (NEC) in West Point, NY. As a key member of Link Solutions, you will leverage cutting-edge technology and communication systems to significantly advance our client’s goals. Job Responsibilities: Performadministrative, O&M functions, and routines required for the telephone switching equipment, voice mail system, and firewall. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting. Perform customer features and activate and de-activate voice mail accounts. Work with government customers to identify needs or opportunities for improvement. Ensure assigned tickets are addressed withgovernment clients. Update/maintain all ISP and remote communications facilities' final drawings. Validate installation communications and cable drawings and submit red-line changes. Maintenance of telephone poles, manholes, handholds, outside terminals. Install, de-install, maintain, repair, and test multiple-conductor aerial, underground, and buried communications cable to include coaxial, fiber optics, and copper/conventional cable. Provide cable audits of manholes, hand-holes, pedestals, communications closets, MDF, IDF. Qualifications Active DoDSecretClearance Five (5+) years experience in telecommunications infrastructure, facility design, and installation. Knowledge and experience ofBICSI rules, regulations, and standards. Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry standards and practices. Knowledge of Avaya Switches. Experience withMS Office Suite. Preferred: Avaya Switch training and certification Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently Accurate and precise attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and organizational skills. Good interpersonal skills and communication with all levels of management.
