In this role, you will work on building and optimizing a dynamic, user-friendly user experience for our headless websites powered by Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely Content Management System (CMS). Additionally, you will integrate and utilize a Digital Design Library (DDL) to ensure consistent and efficient design implementation across the platform. Position Overview We are seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Developer with expertise in Next.js and React to join our team. In this role, you will work on building and optimizing a dynamic, user-friendly user experience for our headless websites powered by Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely Content Management System (CMS) . Additionally, you will integrate and utilize a Digital Design Library (DDL) to ensure consistent and efficient design implementation across the platform. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and optimize responsive front-end components using Next.js and React . Collaborate with designers and backend developers to implement user interfaces that align with the brand's vision and business goals. Integrate and enhance functionality with Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely CMS to deliver a seamless user experience. Utilize, maintain and contribute to the Digital Design Library (DDL) to ensure scalable, reusable, and visually consistent components. Optimize web pages for maximum speed and scalability, ensuring compatibility across various devices and browsers. Work closely with the team to ensure proper integration between front-end elements, the CMS, and commerce functionalities. Debug and troubleshoot issues across the website, ensuring a smooth and reliable user experience. Stay updated on the latest front-end development trends, tools, and best practices, applying them to enhance the platform. Qualifications Technical Skills: 3+ years demonstrated proficiency in Next.js and React.js , including hooks, context API, and server-side rendering. Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and tools such as Figma, Storybook or Adobe XD . Experience with Optimizely Configured Commerce and Optimizely CMS (or similar platforms). Strong understanding of front-end technologies like HTML5 , CSS3 , JavaScript (ES6+), and TypeScript . Familiarity with headless CMS architectures and API-driven integrations. Experience working with component-based libraries such as a Digital Design Library (DDL) . Proficiency in version control systems like Git . Understanding of web performance optimization, accessibility standards, and SEO best practices. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Nice-to-Have Skills: Familiarity with e-commerce workflows and integrations. Experience with testing frameworks such as Katalon, Jest , React Testing Library , or similar.
