Interventional Rad Tech- PRN - Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac Job Title: Interventional Rad Tech- PRN - Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac Department: East | Cardiovascular Services The Interventional Radiological Technologist performs invasive angiographic/cardiovascular/interventional imaging procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. In addition, the position provides patient education and performs quality assessment activities for the division, under the direction of the Cath Lab Manager. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiography Certification and Ohio Department of Health Radiology License. Advanced Certification in Angiography, Interventional or Vascular preferred. 0 years of relevant experience required. Previous experience preferred. Position Summary The Staff Nurse is responsible for managing and providing care to the patient and family, and for directing and supervising nursing care provided by other members of the patient care team. The Staff Nurse is responsible for assessing, prescribing, implementing, coordinating, delegating and evaluating the nursing care of patients. The Staff Nurse prioritizes patient care needs and provides leadership to, and development of the patient care team. Minimum Qualifications For Hire: Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing. Current Ohio license or interim permit. Previous experience in a relevant care setting preferred. On going: Maintains and seeks new knowledge related to evidence based practice, patient care issues, quality improvement, cost reduction, current policies, procedures, and protocols. Maintains current Ohio RN license. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates computer skills required to meet job functions.
