Zurich is seeking a Machinery Breakdown Risk Engineer. The qualified individual must reside within New York City, Long Island, or Northern New Jersey. This is a field role with approximately 25% overnight travel. This is a work from home role and includes a company car. As a Machinery Breakdown Risk Engineer you are responsible for: Providing jurisdictional inspections and machinery breakdown risk assessment services for customers and business partners. Provides intermediate machinery breakdown consultative services to customers, including identifying exposures with significant loss potential, investigation of cause/effect of major losses and hazard/machinery breakdown management programs. Provides basic level training for customers, service design and coordination, marketing, and loss investigations. Final candidates will also be subject to a Motor Vehicle record background check, because this position includes a company car. The hiring manager will determine the appropriate level based upon the selected applicant’s experience and skill set relative to the qualifications listed for this position.
