You will strategize, forecast, analyze, audit, research and lead important decisions. Who You Are: As the Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis, maintaining strong internal controls, and actively participating in period closing procedures related to the Home & Hospitality division. In alignment with the brand strategy of reinforcing the core values, this role is focused on delivering key metrics and strategic analysis while supporting the business unit. The Difference You Will Make: Prepares accurate and timely accrual basis financial statements for the H&H division. Prepares accurate and timely accrual basis financial statements. Completes all assigned account reconciliations within two weeks of period close accurately. Prepares bank reconciliations for entities for which financial reporting is required. Prepares monthly financial analysis of key accounts as requested. Completes monthly reviews of accounts receivable and accounts payable sub ledger activity. Assists with monthly financial close processes including standard journal entries, balance sheets, cash flow, and P&L reviews. Assists with other financial services as requested. Maintain and update knowledge on Accounting Principles and market trends. Understand business unit methods, approaches, and makes decisions as it relates to the accounting department and the LPM division. Manage reporting software and utilize software to produce required data and metrics needed for business analysis/decision making. Provide cost saving strategies through knowledge of business practices and detailed evaluation of operational performance. Improve operational efficiencies where applicable as to support growth of new site launches and business development. Influence idea generation for Best-in-Class principles and utilize strategic development for future business needs/growth. Perform other related duties as required and assigned. Education and Work Experience Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education; Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and CPA preferred. Normally requires a minimum of two (2) years directly related and progressively responsible experience.
