Nome Juvenile Probation is recruiting to fill an On-Call, Non-Permanent Juvenile Justice Counselor 2 position. What You Will Be Doing: This position will work some day, evening, and night shifts as well as on weekends and holidays. Work will be on-call and sporadic. You will ensure the security of youth awaiting transport to the nearest juvenile detention facility while in the Nome Probation Office during assigned shifts. You will occasionally perform escorts from Nome to other Youth Facilities in the State as well as residential treatment centers in and out of the State of Alaska.
