The Neurosurgery Practitioner also will serve as first assistant in surgery, hospital rounding, ED rounding, developing postoperative treatment and discharge plans including but not limited to teaching patient self-care techniques.Required SkillsDemonstrated expertise in neurosurgery care: Knowledgeable regarding Nurse Practitioner/PA scope of practice.Able to communicate effectively to patients and families, staff, and peersDemonstrated leadership abilities.Excellent customer service skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal and conflict resolution abilitiesIndependent performer.Talking or hearing essential to communicate with patients and staff.Good communication skills; read, speaks and writes English fluently.Bilingual skills in Spanish/Chinese preferred.Required ExperienceCurrent California Nurse Practitioner or PA LicenseGraduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant programOne to three (1-3) years direct patient care clinical experience.One to three (1-3) years of neurosurgery assist experienceEvidence of continuing education and self-development to support license requirementsAddress12401 Washington Blvd.Salary120000.00-150000.00ShiftDaysZip Code90602#J-18808-Ljbffr
