Position Summary**Full-time days, Monday-Friday 6:30a-3pm, including Holiday's and Call**This position performs a variety of technical functions and duties to provide for availability of supplies and equipment and maintains sterile field for operating procedures.Position Duties Assists to perform room turnovers in accordance with established procedure and department requirements/standards as part of procedural team.Participates in a variety of surgical cases by assisting surgeons at the surgical field.1. Prepares and sets up operating room for surgical procedures and organizes sterile areas, instruments, and equipment in accordance with established procedure, department, and physician requirements and standards.2. Handles and cares for specific instrumentation to prevent breakage and damage.3. Reviews requirements of patient, physician, and procedure idiosyncrasies to assess set up, equipment, and supply needs.4. Communicates with procedural team to provide for thorough preparedness.5. Seeks guidance from appropriate source for performing or assisting with procedures as needed based on level of personal expertise.6.Handles and labels all specimens.7. Position SummaryThis position provides physical therapy services to pediatric population, neonate to adolescence, including evaluation and treatment, using modalities such as exercise, heat, water, electricity, massage, light and ultrasound.Position Duties Evaluates and treats patients with sensory-motor and/or musculoskeletal disorders/delays, demonstrating knowledge of normal growth and skills necessary to provide age appropriate services, using exercise, heat water, electricity, massage, light, and ultrasound as prescribed by a physician. This may include recommendations for equipment to maximize performance. Provides care as outlined in the standards of care section of the Policies & Procedures Manual.Maintains appropriate documentation in compliance with Joint Commission and CARF standards, including participation in Total Quality ManagementOrganizes, develops, implements, and coordinates motor performance of patient care with other disciplines within the hospital and resources within the community, including discharge planning via charting, letters cares conferences, and rounds. Position SummaryWe currently have positions available in Phoenix, Avondale, and Gilbert.This position provides occupational therapy services to a pediatric population, neonate to adolescent, including evaluation and treatment in independent living, sensory-motor integration, cognitive and psychosocial skill.Position Duties Evaluates and treats patients with a wide range of diagnoses including but not limited to: neurological, sensorimotor, musculoskeletal, complex medical conditions, trauma, and/or occupational performance disorders/delays. Demonstrates knowledge of typical development and possesses skills necessary to provide age appropriate services in areas of self-care and play involving motor, sensory-integrative, cognitive, and psychosocial functions. Uses pediatric-based behavior management strategies and matches diagnostic/therapeutic interventions to age/ability of the child using a framework of family-centered care. Establishes appropriate treatment plans with age appropriate, functional, and measurable goals with target timeframes. Obtains mutual agreement upon discussion with family/guardian. Implements patient's plan of care using treatment modalities including but not limited to: exercise, splinting, taping, heat/cold, electrical stimulation, massage, and ultrasound as prescribed by a physician. This may include recommendations for dynamic medical equipment to maximize function. Performs patient/family teaching for maximizing function within the home/community and implementation of home program.
