Overview Office Manager role at Diocese of Tucson. Base Pay Range $15.00/hr - $20.00/hr Responsibilities Support the Church’s spiritual and pastoral mission. Abide by Catholic principles in professional and private life. Perform both a spiritual and administrative leader in the parish/school. Manage the operations of the parish office with approval of the pastor. Assist the Pastor in establishing and executing parish goals and objectives in accordance with Diocese goals. Coordinate facilities, buildings and grounds. Maintain records and prepare reports as requested by the pastor. Implement controls to prevent irregularities or fraudulent activity and safeguard parish funds and assets. Ensure compliance with Diocese Personnel Policies and evaluate employees appropriately. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Working knowledge of and strong commitment to the mission of the Diocese and Catholic Church. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent human relations and interpersonal skills. Self-starter, well organized, multitask with urgency. Maintain confidentiality. Collaborate in a team environment; punctuality required. Local travel as required. Proficiency in computer technology (word-processing, spreadsheets, PowerPoint). Professional bearing; clean and neat appearance. Pass background and criminal history check. Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in business or public administration or equivalent experience. 2 years of successful management experience. Prior success as an office manager or equivalent in a Catholic Parish or other organization. Other / Preferred Skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred. Covenants of Employment All employees are expected to respect and conduct themselves in accordance with the values, teachings, and morals of the Roman Catholic Church and Arizona state law. Under the Zero Tolerance Policy, no one will be assigned or retained to serve when that person is determined to have engaged in the abuse of a minor or violated boundaries with minors.
