Make necessary repairs to vehicles and equipment, follow up on repairs. Establish and enforce a preventative maintenance program. Maintain vehicle inspection, maintenance, and safety records. Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Coordinate with Operations for equipment inspections, service, and repair. Schedule and conduct safety meetings, ensuring safety guidelines are followed. Manage inventory and oversee procurement of supplies and parts. Oversee shop facility maintenance and appearance. Track fuel use and expenses, and provide reports. Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate shop personnel. Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and company policies.
