Engineering Supervisor The Engineering Supervisor supports the Chief Engineer in overseeing all maintenance and engineering operations at the hotel. Conduct regular property inspections to ensure the highest standards of safety, cleanliness, and functionality. Support and execute preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend equipment life. Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests and service calls. Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with Sonesta brand standards, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements. Train, motivate, and develop engineering team members to deliver consistent, high-quality results. Maintain accurate maintenance logs, inventory, and records. Assist with capital projects, renovations, and energy management initiatives. Support emergency response procedures and ensure life safety systems are operational at all times. Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or trade school certification preferred. Minimum of 3 years of building or hotel engineering experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or lead role. Strong working knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) preferred.
