Key Responsibilities: 1. Technical Leadership Lead engineering analyses and design work for fire safety and compliance. Develop performance-based and prescriptive fire protection strategies and review technical documents. Mentor and train junior engineers, providing regular feedback and guidance. 2. Business Development Maintain and grow client relationships, ensuring high-quality service delivery. Prepare proposals, negotiate contracts, and manage project scope, cost, and timelines. Attend marketing meetings and identify new opportunities to expand the client base. 3. Project Management Oversee small to large-scale projects, ensuring adherence to safety standards and client objectives. Utilize advanced modeling tools (e.g., FDS, Pathfinder) and prepare comprehensive reports. Conduct site inspections and coordinate with stakeholders to ensure compliance and client satisfaction. 4. Organizational Development Contribute to the development of engineering standards and staff training programs. Collaborate with leadership on strategic initiatives to enhance business performance. Represent the company at industry events and cultivate professional networks. Qualifications Education : B.S. and M.S. in Fire Safety/Protection Engineering. Experience : Minimum 5 years in fire protection engineering consulting. Licensure : A PE license is strongly preferred, particularly in the California, Oregon or Washington state, or eligibility to obtain it. Proficiency in fire safety design principles, modeling software, and regulatory compliance. Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills. Salary range: $130k-$180k, depending on experience and qualifications + performance bonus + sign-on bonus

This role will be pivotal in project management, technical development, and business growth, contributing to the safety and efficiency of various facilities. Responsibilities: Provide expert fire protection engineering services, including life safety code consulting, sprinkler and fire alarm design, and performance-based fire engineering for a diverse range of facility types across the United States. Conduct comprehensive building and fire code reviews, including detailed plan analyses and site assessments to ensure compliance with regulations. Classify hazardous materials and prepare detailed inventory statements for industrial properties, enhancing safety and compliance standards. Assess high-piled storage arrangements and generate thorough reports to support high-piled storage permit applications. Deliver exceptional service to clients by completing projects on time and within budget, consistently meeting or exceeding expectations. Prepare and facilitate peer reviews of project-related technical reports to ensure quality and accuracy. Experience: 2-5 years of related experience. Skills: Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Microsoft Office Suite, and Revit (preferred). Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and prepare deliverables for peer review with minimal supervision. Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with industry professionals, trades, and regulatory authorities. Excellent communication skills, capable of articulating ideas clearly and concisely to both internal and external audiences. Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary professionals, with prior project management experience considered a plus.
