This is a hybrid role that is a mix of inside sales and aftermarket/outside sales. This role focuses on quoting, proactive selling of service agreements, spare parts, consumables, and change parts. As well as supporting the Aftermarket Service team with order execution and the OpCo President with GTM tasks. Outside Sales / Equipment Sales / Aftermarket Sales Responsibilities: Responsible for all aftermarket (AFM) sales and quote generation. Responsible for selling capital equipment (CAPEX) which involves Colanar\\'s product line. Proactively sell spare parts, change parts, and consumables at Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and other key customer touchpoints. Promote and sell new parts, services, and consumables to customers. Quote parts, consumables, and services as requested by existing and new customers. Monitor expiring warranties and promote extended service contracts and Master Service Agreements (MSAs). Drive development and sales of MSA agreements and renewals. Develop and sell annual and/or multi-year AFM Service Contracts to key accounts. Track AFM sales, costs, and profitability in support of financial goals and metrics. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, parts sales, and service activities in Salesforce CRM. Serve as the primary contact for AFM customer communications, fielding calls, responding to inquiries, and managing customer expectations regarding pricing, delivery timelines, and service availability. Collaborate with Sales Leadership on business development strategies and sales execution plans. Participate in go-to-market (GTM) sales and forecasting meetings. Act as a primary point of contact for customers, providing timely and professional support via phone, email, and virtual meetings. Generate aftermarket (AFM) quotes for parts, consumables, and services as requested by customers. Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, sales, and service activities in Salesforce CRM. Field incoming customer calls, respond to inquiries, and route technical questions to the appropriate team members. Manage customer inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure timely communication and follow-up. Establish and manage customer expectations regarding pricing, delivery timelines, and service availability. Coordinate consumables order fulfillment and assist in scheduling preventive maintenance (PMs) and service under MSAs. Work closely with the Aftermarket Service Manager to provide timely data, customer details, and sales information for order execution. Collaborate with Finance/Accounting to ensure timely billing and collections on aftermarket sales and service. Job Description Job Description Position Summary: The Field Service Technician (FST) will be responsible for assembling, installing, maintaining, repairing, and upgrading automation and robotics equipment. This technician is a key member of the team who will diagnose and resolve electrical and mechanical issues, perform repairs and rebuilds, and develop maintenance plans both as part of the manufacturing assembly department as well as in the field at customer job sites. The FST will collaborate with stakeholders to optimize system performance, provide technical support and training, and analyze systems for improvements and/or new product offerings. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance, installations, repairs, and upgrades of existing and new automation equipment. Diagnose and resolve electrical issues, including power distributions, wiring, and controls systems, to ensure uninterrupted operation of automation equipment. Diagnose and resolve mechanical issues, including misalignment, parts collision, or improper operability to ensure uninterrupted functionality of automation equipment. Build, repair and rebuild products and systems in a controlled shop environment, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Develop and execute maintenance plans to minimize downtime and maximize the longevity of machines and systems. Perform calibration procedures, testing, and adjustments to ensure the accuracy and precision of equipment and associated components. Work closely with engineers, technicians, managers, customers and other stakeholders to address technical challenges, optimize equipment performance, and implement improvements. Provide technical training and support to customers and end-users on the operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of equipment. Analyze and evaluate the performance of equipment, identify opportunities for optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost savings.
