MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical systems, equipment, and machinery in compliance with safety, GMP, and housekeeping requirements. Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues, including motors, drives, sensors, and control systems. Install and maintain wiring, conduit, panels, switches, and other electrical components according to electrical codes and company safety policies. Work as a self-starter, completing tasks with little instruction and demonstrating strong problem-solving skills. Support production teams by responding quickly to equipment breakdowns while maintaining a clean and safe work area. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime. Read and interpret electrical schematics, technical manuals, and equipment diagrams. Ensure all work is performed following LOTO, Arc Flash, PPE use, and other required safety procedures. Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including parts usage, GMP logs, and repair records. Actively participate in audits and inspections, ensuring compliance with GMP standards and facility housekeeping expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and equipment upgrades. Train operators and other staff on safe equipment use and basic troubleshooting practice. REQUIREMENTS: Required: High School Diploma Preferred: 3+ years' experience in manufacturing. Licensed electrician or equivalent experience strongly preferred. 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or GMP-regulated environment. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, motors, drives, sensors, and controls. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics. Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is a plus. Demonstrated commitment to safety, GMP, and housekeeping practices. Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Proven ability to work independently as a self-starter with minimal supervision. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to lift up to 35lbs. Comfortable working at heights and in varying environmental conditions. Prolonged standing, walking, bending, and use of hand tools.
