What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, guests, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner within the retail or mall environment. Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and support a welcoming atmosphere. Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual activity. Assist with access control and direct visitors as needed to maintain orderly operations within the premises. Support Allied Universal management by following post orders and keeping accurate records of incidents and daily activities. Work collaboratively with location management and other Allied Universal personnel to address security-related concerns and provide assistance as needed. Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Access control or badge experience is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
