The Director of Finance is responsible for the oversight of the day‐to‐day accounting operations, the monthly close process, financial statement preparation, analyses, regulatory reporting, as well as the strategic financial planning and reporting. The position requires knowledge of all aspects of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). The Director of Finance is a key member of the organization’s leadership team.Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment.ResponsibilitiesManage and oversee all day-to-day accounting functions, including cash operations, accounts receivable, invoicing, accounts payable, general ledger activities, fixed assets, and reconciliations.Develop and maintain weekly cash flow projections while coordinating intercompany banking and cash activities.Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and supporting reports in compliance with GAAP and monthly close deadlines.Monitor and manage intercompany reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy and compliance standards are met.Ensure completion of regulatory and statutory reporting requirements, including local tax filings and related compliance matters.Assist with annual external audits by preparing supporting schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.Establish and maintain strong internal controls and financial procedures to safeguard company assets.Partner with executive leadership to support annual budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and business performance analysis.Lead initiatives that improve automation, streamline financial processes, and support organizational scalability.Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members to build a strong and collaborative department.Contribute to special assignments and additional responsibilities that support company objectives.Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, including strong expertise in revenue recognition and lease accounting.Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.Detail‑oriented and hands‑on professional with the ability to work closely with operational and financial data.Demonstrated success leading finance teams within fast‑paced and evolving organizations.Strong analytical thinking and problem‑solving capabilities.Dedicated to driving process improvements and operational efficiencies.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with solid financial analysis and data interpretation abilities.Highly organized with the ability to manage deadlines and multiple priorities effectively.Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with leadership, peers, and direct reports.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.CPA or equivalent certification preferred but not required.7+ years of progressive accounting or financial management experience.Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or team leadership experience within finance or accounting.Strong financial analysis, business insight, and operational acumen.#J-18808-Ljbffr
