This role supports production operations by troubleshooting issues, completing repairs, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.Key Responsibilities • Perform preventative maintenance on machinery, building systems, and equipment. • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues and complete necessary repairs. • Inspect facilities daily for potential hazards, equipment failures, or maintenance needs. • Maintain and repair lighting, plumbing, HVAC components, and general building structures. • Respond to work orders in a timely manner while documenting completed tasks accurately. • Operate hand tools, power tools, forklifts, scissor lifts, and other maintenance-related equipment. • Read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams. • Assist in equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades as needed. • Maintain maintenance inventory, tools, parts, and supplies. • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company safety procedures and regulatory requirements. • Support emergency repairs to minimize downtime. • Collaborate with production, safety, and facility teams to address maintenance concerns and improve reliability.Qualifications • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2+ years of maintenance experience in general industry or similar environment preferred. • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and facility systems. • Ability to safely operate tools and maintenance equipment. • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks. • Ability to read technical documents and follow detailed instructions. • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. climb ladders, and perform tasks in varying environments.Work Environment • Industrial manufacturing or warehouse environment. • Exposure to noise, moving machinery, and varying temperatures. • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required as determined by tasks.
