The ProSolutions Technician- Industrial Chillers & HVAC is a master technician who is a leader in product knowledge and quality specific to the ProSolutions Rental business which involves pumps, generators, power distribution, and HVAC including Heat, AC, Chillers, and Desiccant Dehumidifiers. This equipment serves our customers in industries including: Environmental and Restoration, Refineries and Petrochemical, Electrical, Mechanical, Sewer/Water/Municipal, Underground and General Contractors, Pipelines, Utilities and Industrial Facilities, Mining/Quarries, Entertainment and Special Events. This individual will travel to customer job sites to perform all aspects of service and maintenance in a timely manner while supporting a professional and safe work environment. What you will do... Set up, repair, and operate equipment both in shop and at customer locations Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections on all equipment Diagnose problem areas for any significant wear and tear on equipment: Air Conditioners (up to 80 tons) and Chillers (up to 200 tons) Diesel Engines DC Electrical Systems 12, 24, 48 volts Propane Systems Hydraulics Heavy Trucks/Automotive Diagnose and troubleshoot: Fuel Systems Electrical Systems Hydraulic Systems Propane Systems Diesel/Gas Systems Communicate equipment issues with customers Complete work orders and service reports Assist in training of other Mechanics Assist shop lead with customer damage estimates and repairs Take service calls in absence of supervisor/lead and dispatch other field service mechanics as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements H.S. Diploma or equivalent 3 years of experience repairing heavy equipment Ability to safely lift up to 50 LBs Ownership of sufficient selection of hand and air/electric tools to complete most repairs and services Skills Ability to understand detailed technical schematics, owner manuals, and product warning labels Ability to operate and test equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, compressors, portable and stationary generators, hydraulics, pumps and assorted tools and equipment Ability to drive/operate multiple types of vehicles and equipment Ability to follow up with customers in a timely manner Ability to handle assorted tools properly and safely Must possess solid written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform basic computer operations such as opening and closing work orders Solid and proven computer skill set to enter work orders Understanding the importance of time management Pay Range: $38/hr - $42/hr Please be advised that the actual salary offered for any position is subject to the company's sole discretion and may be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, location, and overall fit for the role. GENERAL PURPOSE: This position provides a visible presence at the Store entrances/exits, mitigating theft and fraud and maintaining a safe and secure environment for Associates and Customers. The Specialist makes eye contact, smiles, and greets all Customers in a prominent, courteous and friendly manner deterring opportunity for theft by demonstrating "command" presence in a Company issued vest/required black attire, and monitoring the Code 50 package inspection policy. Walks sales floor to identify and address potential theft indicators, as directed by Store Leadership. Partners with Store Leadership to ensure compliance with Loss Prevention directives and minimization of operational shortage. Must embrace Company values and have a mentality to protect the Ross treasure. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Maintaining Safe & Secure Environment: Understands that safety is the number one priority and practices safe behaviors in everything they do and assists Store Leadership in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both Associates and Customers. Provides visible "command" presence, including prominent greetings with eye contact, at Store entrances/exits and on sales floor in a Company issued vest/required black attire, monitoring for potential safety issues. Removes clutter and ensures safe, clear egress to emergency exits. Developing Great Teams & Partnerships: Provides great Customer service by prominently greeting Customers, making eye contact, smiling and answering questions in a friendly and courteous manner. Treats all Customers and Associates with respect. Demonstrates courtesy, friendliness, and professionalism at all times. Recognizes Associates using Company recognition programs. Regular involvement with internal and external partners. May include conference calls, scheduled district meetings, educating Associates, providing recognition, etc. Other duties as assigned to support Loss Prevention initiatives. Personal and Store Brand Represents and supports the Company brand at all times. Maintains a professional appearance, in accordance with Company dress code. Mitigating Theft & Fraud: Monitors entrances/exits as well as sales floor for potential theft by identifying suspicious behavior. Gathers theft indicators and uses internal or external intelligence to impact shortage trends. Effectively communicates to Store Leadership and Loss Prevention Leadership. Adheres to Company policy for external theft response. Executes all Company Best Practices and maximizes productivity by minimizing steps and touches while working. Minimizing Operational Shortage: Increases Store awareness on effective processes to minimize operational shortage. Trains and educates Associates on shortage reduction initiatives. Observes and validates proper checkout procedures for Customers and Associates. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: Consistent timeliness and regular attendance. Ability to spend up to 100% of working time standing, walking, and moving around the Store.
