The candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of our manufacturing operations. This includes the preparation of financial reports, direct investment activities, and the development of strategies and plans for the long-term financial goals of our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of GAAP, manufacturing accounting, financial statements, and monthly reporting. Responsibilities Oversee all accounts, ledgers, and reporting systems ensuring compliance with appropriate GAAP standards and regulatory requirements. Maintain internal control safeguards and coordinate all audit activities. Manage cash flow and forecasting; direct all financial, project‑based, and departmental accounting. Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets, and consolidation and reporting to the company. Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities. Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting. Oversee year‑end close process. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline. MBA, CPA, or CMA preferred. 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial reporting and year‑end close processes. Demonstrated success in managing accounting and financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, and taxation. Proficiency in manufacturing accounting and experience in managing financials. Strong interpersonal skills, ability to communicate and manage well at all levels of the organization. Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions based on accurate and timely analyses. High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results‑orientation. Experience with enterprise‑level financial systems. Ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands‑on capacity.
