Responsible for scheduling surgeries and following the process, ensuring patients and guests are greeted and registered. Responsible for posting payments and adjustments. Monitors billing and collections on a daily basis. Requirements Excellent communication skills to include oral comprehension, oral expression, written comprehension, and written expression. Computer/PC experience Medical office reception experience preferred. Background in Medical Terminology preferred. The Security Officer is responsible for transporting non-emergent patients in a safe, professional, and timely manner. This position is also responsible for providing North Canyon Medical Center's patients, visitors and employees protection from harm and reasonable fear of harm. Must demonstrate customer service, i.e., information, directions, escorts, etc, and provide security and protection of North Canyon Medical Center properties and resources. Requirements A. High School Diploma or equivalent preferred B. At least one year of previous security or law enforcement service preferred. C. Maintain up-to-date CPR Certification D. Ability and willingness to demonstrate and maintain competency as required for job title and the unit/area(s) of assignment. E. Excellent communication skills, including oral and written comprehension/expression. F. Ability to complete physical work activities as defined above. G. Ability and willingness to exhibit behaviors consistent with principles for service excellence, standards for performance improvement and organizational values (e.g., efficiency & financial responsibility, safety, partnership & service, teamwork, compassion, integrity, and trust & respect). H. Valid driver's license and clean driving record for 5 years. I. Frequently required to communicate, maintain a stationary position, move/traverse, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time. Frequent stooping, kneeling, squatting, twisting/turning from waist pushing/pulling. Occasional reaching above shoulder level, moving objects horizontally and vertically. Ability frequently lift up to 25 lbs. and occasionally to 50 lbs., seldomly lift/carry up to and over 100 lbs.
