Job Description Job Description SAFETY: Promote the Safety Culture of Agri-Service. Advocate and exemplify safety and safe working habits using proper safety equipment not limited to hand, face, ear and eye protection. (PPE) Follows company safety policies and procedures on the jobsite, promotes safe behavior with our customers. Maintains a clean service truck, performs required inspections, and completes necessary paperwork. Ensures equipment under repair is in a zero-energy state after servicing (Lock out Tag Out). Handles chemicals in accordance with the Safety Data Sheet (SDS). Operates cranes within manufactures guidelines, understands the crane's lifting capacity. Uses correct tooling, performs tool inspections regularly, follows tools instructions and cleans as needed. Performs Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) of location and equipment, looks to eliminate or reduce potential hazards. Identifies potential safety concerns on all makes and types of equipment through walk around inspections and reports them to the supervisor and/or the customer. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Follow all customer care standards and provide customers with solutions. Repair equipment in shop, field or customer location. Utilize a computer/laptop to maintain service reports and other necessary paperwork. Communicate with customers and supervisors regarding the status of their equipment. Manage time efficiently and work with minimal supervision. Work extended hours with minimal notice. Accomplish training and participate with the company's strategic programs and projects. Follow and promote company's vision, mission, and values. Demonstrate an interest in expanding current skillset. Other job-related and non-specific job-related functions as needed. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated experience repairing farm equipment preferred. Ability to develop and maintain product knowledge of AGCO and Agri-Service products. Competently use a variety of mechanical and electronic diagnostic tools used to complete repairs. Ability to locate, understand an apply any technical information from computers, manuals or other guides. Ability to quickly identify problems, approach work from a solutions-based focus, and develop creative solutions to complex issues. Proficient in the use of Microsoft or other comparable systems required. Knowledge or ability to learn CDK, UKG and other software systems as identified by the organization. Drive and maintain company vehicle. Consistent attendance. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: Proof of high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) preferred. Proof of driver's license and acceptable driving record required. Must be able to adhere to all safety requirements and applicable safety policies. Must be able to communicate in English (speak, read, comprehend, write). PHYSICAL CHARACTERISTICS: Must be able to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds occasionally and 25 pounds frequently. Must be able to accomplish any of the following for long periods of time: sit, walk, stand, climb stairs; reach, lean, twist. The Plant Manager is responsible for the management and coordination of all activities involved in the Operation & Maintenance of a 24 hour, 5 day/week operational chemical process unit, utilizing highly hazardous chemicals. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Leadership Excellence: Ensure proper implementation of plant policies, programs and standards consistent with corporate policies. Controls the execution of manufacturing, product quality, waste generation, operations expenses, receiving of raw materials, and shipment of finished goods through well qualified workforce. Plan, organize and direct the manufacturing and maintenance of operations that ensures the most effective return of assets. Display a continuous improvement mindset and use progressive visual tools, production reporting, employee involvement teams, performance measurement, and other techniques to improve facility performance. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, supply chain, quality, commercial, regulatory, and maintenance teams to ensure seamless operations and adherence to safety and environmental regulations. People Development: Fosters a culture where the team understands and demonstrates the company’s core values. Able to build teams and unlock individual potential. Attract, develop and retain personnel that are aligned with the company’s values and principles. Participates in training of new hires and the development of Standard Operating Procedures and Training Program as required. Participates in evaluation and certification of personnel for operational capability. Mentor and coach the site leadership team to nurture a culture of responsible safety, operational excellence, and personal accountability to achieve business goals. Manufacturing Support and Optimization: Research, develop, implement, and optimize chemical processes to improve production efficiency, yield, and quality while reducing costs. Monitor plant equipment and processes, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance. Analyze production data, prepare reports on key performance indicators (KPIs), and present findings to management. Use data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Strategic Planning: Coordinates and participates in long-range plant infrastructure improvement and expansion planning, organizational design and succession planning, as well as efficiency analysis. Prepare annual operations and capital budgets and maintain conformance to those budgetary limits. EHS Management: Ensures 100% compliance with all company policies, safety standards, environmental permits and regulations. Continually improve safety performance by addressing physical, process, system, and culture opportunities throughout the plant. Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) standards and conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards. Manage emergency response drills and ensure team is appropriately prepared to respond to varied scenarios. Quality: Works with the quality assurance and control leader to ensure the plant quality facilities, documentation, methods/techniques, and staff capability meet or exceed industry standards. Investigate with plant personnel quality incidents to correct all deficiencies in a timely and cost-effective manner and to prevent recurrence of identified issues. Education Requirements: Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, business or a related discipline from an accredited institution. Experience Requirements: Minimum of five (5) years management experience in a chemical process manufacturing environment. Relevant experience in a chemical manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of Process Safety Management (PSM). Working knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations which apply to the Facility. Possess excellent leadership skills including effective delegation. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) is required. Familiarity with regulatory standards and environmental compliance. Lean manufacturing and/or continuous improvement methodology experience is preferred. ERP systems knowledge and understanding of MRP, and material control & inventory transaction reporting is desirable. Must pass post‐offer drug test, background check and other appropriate tests as required.
