Position Summary As an emergency response medical professional, you will provide critical medical care to individuals affected by accidents, violence, and sudden illnesses. Your role involves delivering advanced life support both pre-hospital and intra-hospital until the patient is handed over to the receiving medical facility. Key Responsibilities Represent the ambulance service at public events, providing standby services as needed. Document comprehensive patient assessments and treatment plans using appropriate software. Assist patients experiencing psychiatric, medical, or traumatic crises with appropriate medical interventions. Work collaboratively as part of a two-member ambulance crew to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls. Operate advanced life support equipment, including resuscitators and defibrillators. Assess injuries or illnesses to determine the most effective treatment approach. Drive emergency vehicles safely to designated locations as instructed by a dispatcher. Administer medications via injection or intravenous access, following physician directives. Communicate with medical personnel at emergency facilities to coordinate treatment plans. Ensure proper cleaning and decontamination of the ambulance after patient transport, reporting any infectious disease cases as necessary. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Ability to assess the needs of patients and their families effectively. Proficient in documenting and communicating essential medical information. Demonstrated competencies in providing care across various age groups. Knowledge of infection control measures and safety protocols. Capacity to implement advanced medical knowledge and training swiftly during emergencies. Current certifications in ACLS, PALS, Basic Life Support, and EMSVO as required by the State of Pennsylvania, along with a valid PA EMT-P or NREMT-Paramedic certification. Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License. Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree. Two years of experience in advanced life support services. One year of pre-hospital paramedic experience. Pre-Hospital RN certification as per Pennsylvania requirements. Physical Demands This position requires the ability to lift over 50 lbs., push/pull up to 140 lbs., and carry 80 lbs. over short distances. Frequent standing, walking, squatting, kneeling, crawling, climbing, and reaching overhead are essential components of the job. Maintenance Tech I - New Plymouth, ID This is a full time, hourly position. Complete preventative maintenance operations and repair work for edible bean/seed facilities in the area. The Maintenance colleague is responsible to help maintain dry edible and seed bean processing, treating, and packaging equipment as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor and facility management. The equipment must be kept in a manner to meet the safe, and successful day to day operational activities, while maintaining a sanitary work place in compliance with company policies and regulatory agencies (OSHA, EPA, QA, etc.). Job Responsibilities: Actively participate in all installation, repair, and upkeep of equipment within the facilities in conjunction with facility management Carry out inspections of equipment to identify and resolve issues in alignment with Preventive Maintenance Plans. Effectively and efficiently troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed Demonstrate basic welding layout and fabrication skills. Hydraulic, pneumatic, and vibration monitoring knowledge a plus. The facility operates around the clock so the Maintenance colleague will be on call 24/7 during peak processing seasons and may be called into work for after hour emergencies. The Maintenance colleague will occasionally be required to work at times other than normal business (day shift) hours and weekends to accommodate plant needs; i.e. training, shut downs, peak receiving, processing, and shipping seasons. Assist in updating, developing and implementing maintenance programs/procedures Collaborate required reports and maintaining all necessary records and documentation related to predictive/preventative maintenance, planning and scheduling for the facilities Monitor expenses, and assist facility management in controlling maintenance budgets. Ensure Health and Safety policies are complied with Maintain food safety standards in accordance with Quality Assurance program. Ability to plan, organize, and manage multiple assignments/tasks Manage relationships with contractors and service providers Work cooperatively and communicate effectively with production, administrative, sales, and management teams Assist in completing operational tasks at the facilities when required Job Requirements: Role requires 3-5 years of experience as maintenance technician in an agricultural or industrial processing environment Solid understanding of the technical aspects of industrial agricultural processing equipment, fabrication/welding, and electrical systems. Excellent oral and written communication skills Must demonstrate high level problem solving and team working skills Strong self-motivation, organizational, and inter-personal skills Inter-personal skills include handling conflict, motivation, instructing and training personnel in a respectable and fair manner. The physical requirements of the position including, but not limited to: prolonged periods of standing and sitting, working in confined spaces and from heights, bending, kneeling, climbing stairs and ladders, working in a variety of conditions (heat, cold, dust, etc.), lifting up to 50 lbs. unassisted, wearing a respirator.
