About the Role We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team and contribute to the design and development of mechanical components and systems for ASI's unmanned robotic vehicles. In this role, you will support the design, testing, and fabrication of mechanical and electromechanical products while working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful deployment of innovative solutions. Your Impact As a Mechanical Engineer, your work will directly influence the performance and reliability of ASI's robotic systems and autonomous vehicles. By applying mechanical design principles, you will help develop products that operate in real-world environments, contributing to safer, more efficient industrial operations. Your efforts will help shape cutting-edge technology that drives global innovation in robotics and automation. What You'll Do Research and analyze design proposals, specifications, and customer requirements to develop feasible solutions. Design mechanical and electromechanical systems using principles of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components. Develop and test mechanical components using CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Pro-E. Coordinate fabrication, installation, and operation to ensure systems conform to engineering standards and customer specifications. Evaluate field installations and recommend design modifications to improve system performance. Conduct design reviews and provide technical documentation to support product development. Perform stress, thermal, and fatigue analysis to ensure product durability. Who We Are Looking For We are seeking a creative, detail-oriented, and collaborative Mechanical Engineer with a passion for solving technical challenges and designing innovative solutions. Key Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field. 0-2 years of experience in mechanical design, machine design, or product development. Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Pro-E, or Catia) and experience with math tools (MATLAB or Mathcad). Basic understanding of GD&T, stress analysis, thermal analysis, and kinematics. Familiarity with finite element analysis (FEA) and strength of materials. Exposure to electrical engineering concepts and experience with electrical circuit design is a plus. Strong technical writing and communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams. At Autonomous Solutions, Inc.
