About the Role Our Process Engineer role provides the opportunity to build out your experience and expertise. You’ll quickly gain exposure to wide-ranging challenges, technologies, and processes. Production Engineer > Staff Process Engineer > Process Engineer > Senior Engineer> Principal Engineer > Snr Leadership Key responsibilities: Process Engineer Conducts and/or participates in engineering projects Monitors day to day production results Translates process to flow sheet representation Designs and specifies operation of plant processes Assists in preparing proposals. Develops findings, draws conclusions and makes recommendations. Prepares engineering reports, cost estimates and process transmittals. Contributes to the design of moderately complex engineering projects or handles parts of a major project. Contributes ideas for safer, less expensive or new techniques whether or not situation is related to a specific project. Is responsible for meeting engineering assignments within time and budget constraints. Maintains technical skill and knowledge at state of the art level. Works with other engineers and production personnel at other plants, as well as their home location. Contacts or visits other manufacturing facilities as necessary. Has contact with Sales, Marketing and Accounting, administrative functions and suppliers and professional organizations. Provide technical supervision and instructions to process operators. Assists entry level professionals in procedural as well as technical matters. Work on a wider range of troubleshooting problems; use basic knowledge of the process and creative thinking to solve problems and recommend corrective action. About You We’re looking for engineers who strive for excellence and are eager for more responsibility. Bachelors of Science in Chemical/ABE Engineering, Mechanical, or related engineering field Minimum of 5-7+ years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Working knowledge of basic chemical unit operations and PSM systems. It is useful, but certainly not essential, if you have experience in: Chemical processes or production Experience in Corn Wet Milling or Food Manufacturing Natural gas or steam tube dryers, rotary vacuum filters, dewatering presses, centrifugal separation E xperience with pollution control device specifications (scrubbers, stacks, RTOs) Working with us in Lafayette Lafayette is home to one of our longest standing corn milling Primient plants . Total Rewards The annual pay range estimated for this position is $94,480.80 - $118,101.00 and is bonus eligible. Instrumentation Maintenance Technician

Job Overview: We are excited to welcome an Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to our team! This position plays a vital role in ensuring the safe and reliable operation of our production facility in Crawfordsville, IN. You will be at the forefront of identifying, developing, and implementing preventive and predictive maintenance programs for instrumentation systems and equipment, making key technical decisions and recommendations independently. As part of your responsibilities, you may also support other facilities within the region during maintenance activities, turnarounds, and projects. Primary Responsibilities: Maintain and troubleshoot a variety of industrial instruments, including transmitters, PLC systems, analyzers, meters, and automatic valves. Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment. Develop and manage preventive and corrective maintenance plans. Participate in root cause analysis for major failures. Interpret and maintain P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams in line with SOPs, QA, and MOC policies. Identify chronic and long-term instrumentation asset concerns and work towards resolving them. Assist in turnaround planning as well as cost estimation for instrumentation activities. Identify and implement new technologies and specify needed instrument systems. Train and mentor both new and current instrument specialists at the facility. Lead the implementation and compliance of Procal (Instrumentation Calibration/Asset Management Software). Support FDA and cGMP validation activities for instrumentation systems. Assess equipment performance data to ensure optimal operation. Provide remote or onsite assistance to plant personnel to ensure safe and effective work practices. Drive the resolution of high-impact issues with urgency and integrity. This role involves both office and field work, requiring adaptability to various weather conditions. You should be capable of accessing elevated electrical and mechanical equipment using ladders, scaffolding, man-lifts, and crane baskets. Accessibility during off-hours is also necessary, with occasional overtime and callouts on weekends, nights, and holidays. This position involves up to 25 percent overnight domestic travel to support I&E needs across the region. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Associate's Degree or Engineering Technology Degree in Instrumentation/Electronics, accompanied by a minimum of 5 years of experience in maintaining instrumentation systems within an industrial manufacturing setting. Demonstrated experience in the installation, troubleshooting, repairs, testing, and calibration of industrial instrumentation systems. Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance best practices for industrial instrumentation. Excellent communication skills and a capacity for team collaboration. Ability to work independently while also thriving in team settings. Experience as a self-starter with effective multitasking abilities and minimal supervision required. Proficiency in standard software packages, including MS Office and email. A valid driver's license with the ability to operate a company vehicle safely. Willingness to undergo random drug testing. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Electronics Engineering or Electrical Engineering. Understanding of relevant regulatory and industrial standards. Keen grasp of process control systems and methodologies in an industrial context. Experience with Asset Management systems like Infor EAM and Procal.
