Girl Scouts Louisiana East is hiring a part-time Camp Cook to prepare nutritious meals, maintain kitchen safety, and support campers and staff at our outdoor camp programs.What Youll Do (overview)\tPrepare meals according to the menu and serve on time. \tAccommodate dietary needs for campers and staff. \tMaintain kitchen cleanliness, records, and proper food storage. \tSupport volunteers in the kitchen and collaborate with staff on supplies. \tFollow safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance with Louisiana Department of Health standards. What Were Looking For \tHigh school diploma or GED (required). \t1+ year of food service experience. \tFood safety certification (or willingness to obtain). \tStrong communication skills, teamwork, and flexibility. \tMust be 18 or older with at least 1 year driving experience, valid license, and insurance. \tMembership in Girl Scouts of the USA (required upon hire).
