Job Description Job Description BASIC PURPOSE: The primary purpose of this position is to: Develop slotting plans for two warehouse, including: Weekly Sales Plan Volume, seasonal and Holiday Plans Product Mix Ration (Dock vs. Slot) Commodity/Department Plans (store friendly compliance) Daily Slot Maintenance Maintain the integrity of the Labor Management Modules within the EXE Warehouse Management system. Oversee all work methods and business processes that directly correlate to and support all engineered labor standards within the facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: (Primary accountability for specific functions and results. The list of essential functions is not exhaustive and may be supplemented or changed as necessary. List by order of importance and continue on separate page if necessary). 1. Develop slotting plans for multiple warehouses, including the weekly sales plan, volume seasonal and holiday plans, product mix ratio (dock vs. slot), and commodity/ development plans (store friendly compliance). . 2. Oversee the activities and maintain the integrity of the Labor Management Modules with the EXE Warehouse Management System. 3. Safe Quality Food monitoring. 4. Perform modeling and simulation to determine productivity and operational impacts with slotting changes to determine optimum plan. 5. Identify and provide support for implementing short and long-term projects to drive efficiency with slotting and labor management. 6. Maintain clear and frequent communication with similar role(s) at other distribution sites to drive consistency and efficiency across Stop and Shop's slotting and labor/performance management processes. 7. Maintain clear and frequent communication with site management and distribution center teams about slotting and labor/performance management issues and decisions. 8. Interface with other company departments including Merchandising, Store Operations, Customer Service, and Inventory Control for all slotting and / or problems as appropriate. 9. Establish, maintain, and document the best-practice operational methodologies functions within our distribution center such as personal, fatigue and delay factors. 10. Provide necessary training and support to the operations management in order to maintain and facilitate proper detailed labor standards, including proper work methods, table setup and usage. 11. Develop, conduct and maintain training programs to educate distribution associates about slotting. 12. Develop detailed back-up slotting procedures to be used when systems are down. 13. Administer Stop and Shop company policies / guidelines and Distribution Shop Rules. ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 14. Participate in the orientation of new associates as necessary. 15. Establish positive relationships with various departments within Stop and Shop to foster the necessary cooperation needed to meet corporate goals. 17. Maintain a working knowledge of industry best-of-breed operators and engineering principles to support best practices. 18. Identify and document best practices for slotting and labor management. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: To perform at a proficient level and be fully qualified, a person would be expected to have: Education (Required): Bachelor's degree in business , Logistics, Industrial Engineering or equivalent work experience. Experience (Required): 4-6 years in a distribution environment with increasing management responsibilities. Excellent knowledge of distribution operations, warehouse management systems, labor standards and radio frequency systems. Specialized Knowledge Needed For Performance of Job: EXE Technologies Warehouse Management System experience a plus Special Skills: Project Management, Analytical, Presentation, Communication (written and verbal), Interpersonal. Planning and Organizational skills Other: Knowledge of system operation. Position is Bonus eligible

Job Description Job Description Reports to: Supervisor and Maintenance Manager Union shop - 2nd or 3rd shift PRIMARY FUNCTIONS: Repairs and performs maintenance tasks on battery powered pallet jacks, forklifts and narrow aisle high lifts. Repair building hardware and interiors. Install and repair rack systems. Will be required to learn basic and safe operations of facility systems i.e. sprinkler system, fire alarms, building automation and ammonia refrigeration system. Will be assigned tasks, which will require the ability to identify and solve problems with building systems and equipment in a safe and timely manner. Will be required to perform a wide range of activities ranging from but not limited to carpentry, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and metal fabrication work. EDUCATION AND JOB KNOWLEDGE: Must have a High School diploma or equivalent. Should have a minimum or 5 yrs. experience as a maintenance mechanic. Should have a basic understanding of electrical circuits, hydraulic circuits, mechanical systems and engine repairs. Must have a working knowledge of safe maintenance repair practices. Must have a basic understanding of a Maintenance Department's organization and planning. FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A physically demanding position requiring heavy lifting and carrying (50-100 lbs.). The ability to stand continuously is essential with occasional walking and sitting. The nature of this position will require employee to perform a wide range of physical activities ranging from pushing and pulling heavy objects (50-100 lbs.) to crouching, kneeling, bending and handling. Repetitive finger motions are also required. Must be willing and able to work in hot and cold environments. Willing and able to work overtime as needed. SAMPLE LIST OF DAILY TASKS AND DUTIES: Work must be performed in a safe and efficient manner. This list is an example of tasks. Assigned work is not limited to this list. 1. Repair Sloan flush and sink valves. 2. Install paper towel dispensers, mirrors, cabinets etc. 3. Complete documentation of daily work and parts use. 4. Unclog drains and toilets. 5. Replace spent batteries in pallet jacks and forklifts using crane or multi-shifter battery changer. 6. Service battery fleet by adding water, cleaning, changing terminal ends. 7. Identify and correct fire hazards like blocked exits, damaged fire extinguishers. 8. Troubleshoot and identify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems with battery powered forklifts and pallet jacks. 9. Troubleshoot and identify mechanical, electrical and engine problems with walk behind and ride on sanitation equipment. 10. Repair pallet jacks by replacing load wheels, drive wheels, lift pumps, and control components. 11. Repair high lifts by replacing load wheels, drive wheels, lift pumps, and control components. 12. Interact professionally with office staff. Moving office furniture, Setting up conference rooms and offices. 13. Repair dock plate / lock mechanical problems. 14. Troubleshoot and repair dock plate / lock controls problems. 15. Raise fire doors and set trip device properly. 16. Safely and correctly respond to ammonia refrigeration plant operational problems i.e. restart plant after shutdown, changing pressure and temperature settings to adjust for climate changes, manage coil operation to control liquid levels. 17. Perform maintenance task on ammonia refrigeration system changing filters, changing oil, cleaning strainers. 18. Respond and resolve problems or troubles with fire alarm and sprinkler system. 19. Adjust timers and temperature settings on Building Automation Systems. 20. Identify and repairs problems with salvage building trailer wash systems. 21. Identify and repairs problems with truck wash systems. 22. Fabricate rack parts or fixtures by cutting, grinding and welding metal stock. 23. Construct or repair rack systems by installing load beds, slide bars and uprights. 24. Fix netting of racks by installing clips and repairing cables. 25. Troubleshoot and identify and repair mechanical, electrical problems on Hi-Speed RYTEC doors 26. Troubleshoot and identify and repair mechanical, electrical and hydraulic problems on multi-shifter battery changer
