Open to Full-Time or Part-Time help. Ensure that company standards of safety, proper food handling practices, sanitation and productivity are maintained. Monitor cooler and display area temperature to ensure product quality; report refrigeration failure immediately. Able to operate and clean department equipment and tools. Secondary Job Functions: Restock and use supply items efficiently to eliminate waste and to maintain the lowest supply cost. Clean utensils, work tables, display cases, cooler and freezer, walls, fans, drains, and wipe counter tops. Present favorable impression in dress, personal hygiene and business attitude. Notify management of associate theft, customer shoplifting, unauthorized markdowns or property defacement. Cook Position At Cookes Seafood Restaurant Azzaro Mashpee, Inc. dba Cookes Seafood Restaurant located in Mashpee, MA on Cape Cod and in Barnstable County is seeking cooks for temporary, full-time positions from 04/01/2026 to 11/10/2026. The schedule requires at least 35 hours per week, 5 days a week, with varying days and shifts between 9am-9pm, 10am-5pm, 12pm-9pm, and/or 3pm-9pm. There are nine openings available. The role involves preparing, seasoning, and cooking soups, pasta, meats, poultry, seafood, vegetables, desserts, and other food items according to the chef's specifications. The job also requires maintaining the cleanliness of the work area and equipment. No education or prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The hourly wage is $21.52. Overtime is not available. Transportation, including meals and, if necessary, lodging, will be provided or reimbursed if the worker completes half the employment period. Return transportation will be provided if the worker completes the employment period or is dismissed early by the employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of $16.28 per day during travel, up to a maximum of $68 per day with receipts. The employer will provide workers at no charge all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job. Employees will be paid weekly on Friday by company check. H-2B workers will be provided with reimbursement by company check during the first workweek for visa, visa processing, and related costs, except passport costs. All deductions required by law will be deducted weekly. Lodging may be available through the employer.
