Join to apply for the Assistant Personal Training Leader role at Life Time Inc. 4 weeks ago Be among the first 25 applicants Position Summary As a PT Leader-2, you will lead and develop a team of Fitness Professionals to a successful career at Life Time. You will assist club leadership in bringing the Life Time Training brand and philosophy to life every day through amazing experiences. You will be responsible for the fitness floor experience, delivering the best Dynamic Personal Training, conducting one-on-one sessions with team members, selling training packages, coaching live client and member experience sessions, onboarding new team members, managing connectivity and sales processes, educating on all products and services, delivering your personal production, and helping your team achieve their financial goals. Job Duties and Responsibilities Manage, support, develop, coach, and mentor a team of fitness professionals to meet brand and performance expectations, including disciplinary actions as needed. Ensure the total experience and results for all clients. Set an example through managing your own individual book of business as a Player-Coach. Oversee the quality and consistency of products, services, programs, and the fitness floor experience. Develop and implement strategies to meet personal training productivity goals and lead department-wide meetings to achieve these goals. Generate new clients and refer them to appropriate fitness professionals based on client needs, ensuring team members have the necessary skills and training. Promote and execute Life Time Training initiatives such as 60 Day programs and special events. Handle scheduling, administrative, and coordination tasks for all programs and classes. Minimum Required Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Certified Personal Trainer CPR and AED Certified 2+ years of personal training experience Demonstrated leadership and management skills Strong communication, sales, program design, and coaching skills Ability to drive results through others Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in kinesiology, sports medicine, or related field Experience with virtual training methodologies Success in increasing client acquisition and retention Ability to manage multiple fitness professionals effectively Knowledge of Life Time business applications (Exerp, Workday, Domo, etc.) Pay This position is paid on a performance-based commission structure, with weekly minimum pay exceeding one-and-a-half times the applicable minimum wage per hour, plus potential performance pay.
