This position only provides assessments. This position will review and assess 4 Veterans per day on average. Schedule: Full-Time: 5 days/week (Telehealth/In-Person hybrid schedule) MRG Exams Is Looking For PM&R Physicians Who Are Interested in performing Independent Medical Assessments vs. traditional patient care & treatment. Independent medical assessments = Medical Fact Finding & Investigative role. Willing to spend at least 50% of their day reviewing medical records and electronic documenting of exam findings. Proficient at finding key data points within large electronic medical records. Able to analyze data from the medical records and exam findings to complete the DBQ's and form medical opinions. Typing skills are essential. Skilled at time management, able to stay on task and meet requirements. Completed DBQ's must be submitted within 24 hours after an exam. Job Description: We are seeking dedicated, patient-focused physicians licensed in at least to join our team. Whether your background is in primary care, internal medicine, addiction medicine, emergency medicine, or urgent care, this role provides an opportunity to practice modern, high-quality medicine without the constraints of a traditional practice setting. While most of our services are fully virtual, in-person hybrid opportunities may be available. Responsibilities: Provide exceptional virtual care, including patient assessments, medical history reviews, and appropriate medical treatment. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care, building therapeutic doctor-patient relationships. Order and interpret lab tests as needed to make informed, high-quality treatment decisions. Prescribe medications and provide expert guidance on their proper usage (QuickMD does not prescribe controlled substances, except for buprenorphine for opioid addiction treatment). Collaborate with physicians and nurse practitioners, experienced nurses, and a dedicated support staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Maintain appropriate medical documentation to support continuity of care. Stay up to date with medical advancements, telehealth innovation, and best practices. Requirements: Active medical license in at least three U.S. states, but preferably five, plus willingness to obtain additional state licenses (assistance provided and costs covered). Helpful to be licensed in one of our high demand states: AL, CA, IN, MS, NC, PA, SC and/or VA. Experience treating patients in telehealth or high-volume in-person settings.
