The Facilities Administrative Assistant (Bilingual) role works with our customers, service providers, and employees to deliver some combination of our services with excellent customer service, both by looking after facilities issues quickly and completely and by helping clients achieve their maintenance objectives: process, control, cost, information, communications, and quality. For information about ABM’s benefits, visit ABM 2024 Employee Benefits | Staff & Management ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES · Provide administrative support to the Facilities Manager which includes scheduling meetings, taking meeting notes, reviewing facilities related reports and preparing correspondence required for the management of the facility. · Take incoming client calls such as: hot and cold calls, water leaks, electrical issues, etc. then act as the liaison to facilitate action for resolution with the ABM Facilities on-site team · Schedule and coordinate all service calls as calls are received · Create work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management system (CMMS) for all service calls · Dispatch ABM facilities staff for emergencies, follow-up on non-emergent work orders with no progress or status update when they are flagged- reroute staffing as needed · Respond to all messages left overnight related to non-emergent issues · Work with Facility Manager and ABM trades to maintain the facilities schedule every week · Assist in ordering parts with Facilities Manager and Shipping/Receiving Coordinator for special orders · Provides reports on open and closed orders and checks status with all necessary parties. · Maintains files on orders, proposals and all other necessary correspondence · Reviews vendor invoices and checks accuracy on completed paperwork submitted. · Provides end-user support by responding to questions related to CMMS · Capable of identifying repeat requests and perform root cause analysis then recommend solutions to reduce repetitive requests by working with Facility Manager and technical trades provided by ABM. · Assist in new systems implementation and rollout · Setting up new user accounts, modifying access, resetting passwords · Prepare documentation to support system administrative functions, procedures and processes · Act as a back-up to the Facilities Manager providing on-call 24/7 support remotely when not on-site · Perform other related duties and responsibilities as required REQUIRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS · 7+ related experience and/or training in customer service, dispatching, facilities administration and/or project management or equivalent combination of education and experience · Ability to manage support work order system, assigning and responding to work orders, identify trends in incoming requests · Strong Computing Skills and knowledge of Microsoft office suite including Word, Excel, Power Point and Outlook · Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing, including the ability to provide technical assistance to complex compliance issues in a simple, straightforward manner · Self-starter and strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks · Ability to organize & prioritize assistance to others · Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with all levels within a company · Positive attitude, professional demeanor, team player · Ability to adapt to changes in structures and work priorities · Excellent attendance record · Schedule coordinating experience · Advanced customer service skills · The ability to flawlessly juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment · The ability to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants and Trades Workers · The ability to type 40+WPM with accuracy · Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail · Geographical knowledge of service area or map reading skills · Possession of valid driver's license and good driving record PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS · Dispatching experience HVAC, plumbing, electrical, construction or similar industry experience REQUIRED EDUCATION · High school diploma or general education degree (GED) #300 #P1 About Us ABM (NYSE: ABM) is one of the world’s largest providers of facility services and solutions. Job Description Job Description POSITION DESCRIPTION: SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Education Director (CSM), the Special Education Teacher is responsible for providing direct instruction to children attending CSM locations. The Special Education Teacher is also responsible for the management, development and performance of Teaching Assistants. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree from an accredited college or university and meet the state certification requirements for Teacher. The Teacher may be conditionally or provisionally certified. To maintain employment as a Teacher, Maryland State certification must be kept current. Experience: Minimum two (2) years’ experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities in an instructional setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Skills: Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and coordinative ability. Must possess and demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with the ability to exercise patience, caring and concern in new and sometimes stressful situations. Computer literacy required, with a proficiency in standard business software applications (i.e., word processing, e-mail and spreadsheets). ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The Special Education Teacher also functions as the Individual Program Coordinator. The Teacher’s duties are as follows: • Coordinates implementation of the Individualized Program for each student. • Ensures implementation of the Individualized Education Program. Train the Teacher Assistants on implementation of the IEP and behavioral programs, ensuring the initiation of goals and behavioral programs on time. Write goals and instructional programs for each student. • Collects, compiles, and complete monthly progress reports by the 15th of the following Month. • Confers with the Teacher Assistant and the Residential Instructors to discuss the current status of individual students’ instructional plans. Reviews review students’ education progress and ensures coordination of the instructional plans in the classroom, the community, and the residences. • Participates in weekly classroom staff meeting to coordinate classroom and community activities schedule, to share relevant information amongst all staff and to train staff in policies procedures, and other school and agency matters. • Participates in weekly consultations with psychologist to monitor behavioral program implementation. • Oversees the administration of medication in the classroom and monitor the charting. • Supervises the safe handling of and ensure that the appropriate quantities of medication are available. • Maintains classroom data and records; maintain files and records and ensures that Teacher Assistants are completing all necessary forms. • Develops classroom instructional programs; plans and implements daily classroom schedule. • Ensures implementation of behavioral program for each student. • Serves as a member of the interdisciplinary team for each student. • Completes the educational assessment of students. • Trains, supervises, and evaluates Teacher Assistants. • Orders, purchases, or makes instructional materials. • Adheres to all CSAAC policies and procedures; applicable regulations of federal, state, and local laws; and The Council standards. • Confers with human resources to affect any disciplinary measures as required. • Performs other duties as assigned by the Education Director • Adheres to mandatory use of CareMatic system to access, send email and access and report health information, data and incidents for individuals supported in CSAAC program. Adheres to mandatory use of TLM software for Human Resource and Accounting related duties. REQUIRED TRAINING/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS • Currency of Maryland State teaching certification. • Medication Administration certification. • Completion and demonstration of techniques taught in the Behavioral Principles and Strategies. • Successfully complete annual recertification of the BPS. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, and use hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. This position includes development of systems for implementing programming, including behavior supports programming, instructional programming, and modifying those systems when necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Education: Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field (or higher) education; Must hold active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) national certification, and Behavior Analyst License in the State of Maryland (LBA), with expert knowledge in the field of autism. Experience: Minimum of five (5) years’ experience providing services as BCBA and designing behavior management plans for individuals with developmental disabilities. Background working or consulting in schools preferred. Skills: Must possess strong written and oral communication skills, as well as good organizational and coordinative ability. Designs treatment strategies for use in behavioral and instructional programming and provides training on those strategies to CSM and residential staff. Assist in designing and maintaining a system for delivery of behavior management services in the day school and school residential programs which meet COMAR regulations, Autism Waiver, DDA and DHR standards as well as individual needs. Assists teachers and school residential coordinators in the development of behavioral and instructional goals for individuals served at CSAAC, which enables them to achieve their educational goals. Seeks case consultation from the BCBA Program Manager to facilitate behavioral and educational progress for assigned caseload as needed. Assists the BCBA Program Manager in the supervision of school behavior specialists in the provision of services to individuals served by CSM. Assists in developing systems for recording data, tracking data, and modifying behavioral, instructional, and other programmatic plans, based on data, in order to facilitate behavioral and educational progress. Conducts functional behavior assessments and life skills assessments. Creates function-based behavior plans Writes behavior reports for the IEP team. Attends team meetings, as directed. Other behavior analytic duties as needed, as directed by BCBA Program Manager. REQUIRED TRAINING/PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS Must be an active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in active, good standing. Should hold an active Maryland State License as Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) or be eligible for MD LBA upon hire. BCBA is required to maintain active certification and licensure throughout career at CSAAC.
