Overview He/she is responsible for the scheduling of outpatients for testing, treatment or other procedures in an expeditious, friendly and courteous manner. Responsibilities Takes telephone reservations from doctor’s offices, patients and others as appropriate. Coordinates appropriate reservation information to other departments through Meditech, e-mail, physician orders, letters, calls, faxes and Audix messages. Anticipates scheduling conflicts and problems using good judgment in conflict resolution; is able to edit schedules as requested by area supervisors.
