This position provides IT support for student users of the computer lab, classrooms, AV support, and auditorium support. We are seeking to fill a position at the Texas Township Campus. This position supports all hours of college operations. Minimum Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Prior computer-related training or coursework is required. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required. Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Knowledge of Americans With Disabilities Act and conformance level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 is highly preferred. Experience with adaptive equipment and software applicable to higher education requirements is preferred. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds. A primary responsibility of all employees is to support the instructional mission of the institution and to promote positive student and customer relations. This position plans, directs and evaluates the operational activities of the purchasing and accounts payable functions. Specific Duties and Responsibilities: Manages one or more direct reports, participates in the hiring process, ensures appropriate onboarding, training, coaching and discipline, and through collaboration with the Human Resources Department, develops and implements effective supervisory practices. Reviews and approves invoices, expense reimbursements, internal claim vouchers and purchase orders. Coordinates capital equipment disposal and capitalization, and provides backup on the processing of those items when necessary. Coordinates and maintains bid preparation and receipts, processes monthly purchasing card transactions and coordinates procurement of institutional supplies, equipment and maintenance contracts. Negotiates pricing, terms and contracts with vendors and maintains vendor master data and catalogs. Compiles, analyzes, prepares and assists with various IRS filings. Assists the Business Office in exploring, identifying, developing, testing and implementing various processes and projects to increase the efficiency and/or effectiveness of assigned areas. Provides audit support and preparation in areas such as prepaid expenses, accounts payable and fixed assets. Maintains institutional purchasing manual and ensures purchasing activities comply with college policies, grant requirements and applicable laws and regulations.
