We are currently hiring for an ocean import specialist primarily dealing with ocean import operations from end to end for key customer accounts. You'll be joining our growing Freight Forwarding team based in Warrington, Cheshire. Ocean Import Operations Overview: You will be accountable to the Operations Team Leader for the day-to-day running of customers' import and export requirements via ocean, air, and road, ensuring procedures are followed. Also ensuring the department remains profitable, efficient, and focused. The role is permanently office-based. Key Responsibilities: Complete start to finish ocean import operations for key customer accounts. Ensure all shipments imports/exports are processed within a timely manner. Prompt processing of customer invoicing and passing of supplier costs to meet KPI's. Liaise with shipping lines, carriers, merchant haulage, and overseas agents. Obtain quotes/rates for the best possible price. Pride in the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Company Benefits: Competitive salary up to £34,000pa.
