BRANCH out of the classroom and GROW through hands-on experience. Title: Business Commercial Development Intern Location : McIntosh, AL Terms Available: May - August 2025 or August - December 2025. Housing Stipend Available Examples of Business & Commercial Co-Op Daily Activities: Perform Order Management activities, such as handling routine customer order activities including order entry Report for order visibility and blocked orders review to ensure timely delivery and invoicing of shipped products Enter Quality Notifications to capture service failures Retrieve customer output documents on demand Evaluate and analyze key performance metrics Business & Commercial Co-Op Minimum Requirements: Enrolled at an accredited college or university majoring in an undergraduate or graduate Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics degree program. Preference given to students located within 50 miles of the assigned Olin location. Must have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale at all times throughout your time at Olin. An official transcript will be required each term. Cumulative GPA on current institution transcript will be used in transfer college situations Must have completed freshman year prior to first assignment with Olin Ability to work full time (40 hours a week during normal business hours) either May - August 2025 or August - December 2025. Not eligible for virtual work. Preference will be given to candidates with availability and desire to work a minimum of three (3) terms with no more than one of those terms occurring over the summer Must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis without the requirement of a work/student visa * Olin does not provide any form of sponsorship. Focus: Instrument Technicians troubleshoot equipment instrumentation, control systems (DCS/PLC/MLC) and ladder logic. Instrument Technicians receive very little descriptive information concerning the production problem and learn to calibrate, install and maintain a variety of instruments used to measure temperature, level, pressure, pH, conductivity and flow. They will install & maintain pneumatic systems; monitor specific equipment; and may monitor and replace control valves. Instrument Technicians participate in safety meetings and training activities and follow established safety and operating procedures and practices. Instrument Tech Essential Job Functions: Troubleshoots, improves, repairs malfunctions, and documents failure analysis of Instrument equipment Sets up and calibrates, tests, measures, and repairs all types of electrical controls, instruments, and electronic variables Actively participates in the implementation of the Maintenance Work Process for I&E work Assists PPM Coordinator and ME role in defining appropriate electrical spare parts needed Updates and follows daily maintenance schedule Maintains accurate records including calibrations, electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams, and P&IDs Supports Root Cause Failure Analysis for I&E components Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Journeylevel Instrumentation Technician with minimum 5 years of instrumentation work experience (industrial setting preferred) Able to demonstrate basic computer skills, math and problem-solving; mechanical, numerical and verbal aptitude to learn our jobs quickly Must be able to work call-ins and overtime when support is needed Able to pass a functional physical testing and able to use standard safety equipment; must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Able to climb ladders/stairs and work at heights. Able to work in tight or closed-in spaces Pass a physical, drug screen and background check if job offer is received and accepted.
