Job Location: BAG Air Vent Orrick MO Air Vent 418 E North Front Street Orrick, MO 64077, USA Purchase inventory and non-inventory related supplies to support personnel and manufacturing. Analyze and interpret Order Action Buy Report (MR0090). Prepare and issue purchase orders accordingly. Analyze and interpret Reschedule Buy Report (MR9000); expedite/delay deliveries of past due/early items through analysis of MRP. Keep delivery dates updated at 100% accuracy on all purchase orders. Discuss defective or unacceptable goods and/or services with inspection or quality control personnel, users, suppliers, and others to determine the source of trouble; determine disposition with suppliers and take corrective action. Support ECN process by contributing purchasing information such as pricing, lead time, vendor code, MIN, MAX, EOQ, etc. to ECNs in an expeditious manner (This information will be obtained through the RFQ process). Manage the inventory associated with each of these said ECNs or projects. Develop and implement formal policies and procedures for materials management, inventory control (cycle counting), and purchasing. Utilize MRP system for all forecasting, tracking, and reporting of all raw materials. Attend production meetings daily to communicate raw material status to production; review immediate requirements with manufacturing and take appropriate action. Develop, implement, and maintain monthly Purchasing Price Variance report; reconcile and explain PPVs. Maintain procurement records such as items and services purchased, costs, delivery, product quality or performance, and/or inventories. Maintain follow-up system with suppliers to ensure prompt responses from our suppliers for quotations and delivery dates. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or industrial engineering and 2+ years of purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management or equivalent combination of education and experience.
