It’s the job of Water and Fuel Systems Maintenance specialists to manage the plumbing, wastewater collection systems, liquid fuel storage and natural gas distribution systems on every base. This work may be performed using hand tools, power tools and electrical maintenance knowledge. Design, program, repair and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) Systems. Complete work orders, PM rounds, repairs, and general maintenance. Diagnose trouble and determine extent of repairs necessary; repair, refit, or replace parts. Reorder supplies and equipment, as needed. Lay out carpentry work and specify materials; includes finishing and masonry work.
