At Explore Industries, we don’t just build pools, we build careers, drive innovation, and develop tomorrow’s leaders.About the RoleAs the Sales and Distribution Center Manager (internally known as ExploreBase Manager), you will serve as a hands-on leader responsible for the strategic direction and daily success of the Picayune, Mississippi ExploreBase. You will oversee all functional departments—including sales, customer service, accounts receivable, and operations/logistics—while ensuring strong operational and financial performance, achievement of profit margins and revenue goals, and active participation in hands-on operational tasks. This includes operating equipment such as telehandlers to support safe loading and unloading of fiberglass swimming pools and related equipment.The ideal candidate is passionate about business strategy, delivering results, building strong relationships with customers and colleagues, and directly contributing to the operational efficiency of the distribution center.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute plans to achieve or exceed sales and revenue targetsManage channel partners for business development in alignment with guidance from the CSO and National Product ManagerLead, train, and motivate sales, customer service, and logistics teams to meet targets and ensure timely communication with dealersActively participate in operations, including operating telehandlers to load/unload pools using safe lifting practices with slings and cross beamsOversee inventory management, security, and monthly physical counts in collaboration with the Operations DepartmentMaintain and grow key customer relationships while identifying strategic opportunitiesManage the annual sales and cost budgetsEnsure full compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulationsPrepare and deliver timely sales and operational reports to senior managementWhat We’re Looking ForEducation & Experience:5+ years of sales experience (swimming pool industry experience preferred, including pool products, construction, distribution, or manufacturing)Proven experience operating telehandlers or similar heavy equipment, with knowledge of safety protocols and riggingIntermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)Valid driver’s license and clean driving recordBachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or related field)Skills & Qualifications:Strong sales, management, and organizational skills.Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration abilitiesAnalytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvementPhysically capable of operating equipment and working in varied outdoor/indoor conditionsCompensationBase Salary Range: $82,000 – $95,000 annuallyActual compensation will be based on experience, job-related skills, and applicable geographic location.Benefits & Additional Compensation Eligible employees may receive access to the following benefits and programs, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements:Generous Paid Time Off (PTO) and paid holidays401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insurance optionsOptional life and disability insuranceOther incentive or compensation programs may be available depending on the positionReady to Dive In?Are you excited to join a team where your contributions truly make a difference?
