Position Overview: The Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day field operations of the portable toilet and waste collection services. This includes managing service routes, supervising drivers and yard staff, ensuring proper maintenance of equipment, and enforcing safety and compliance standards. The role plays a key part in maintaining service quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Operations Management: Monitors field operations to ensure services are completed on schedule and in line with customer expectations. Coordinates with dispatch to adjust routes and assignments as needed for efficiency or special requests. Staff Supervision: Oversees the activities of drivers, and yard personnel. Tracks inventory levels of consumables (chemicals, paper products, etc.) and coordinates restocking. Schedules preventative maintenance and repairs with the maintenance team or external vendors. Customer Service Support: Acts as a point of contact for escalated service issues and coordinates appropriate resolution. Works with the sales and admin teams to ensure special job requirements are communicated and fulfilled. Conducts periodic field checks to ensure service quality. Compliance & Safety: Enforces safety protocols and ensures compliance with DOT, OSHA, and environmental regulations. Maintains records for inspections, incident reports, and other regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Experience: Three (3) to Five (5) years’ experience in operations, logistics, or field service supervision, preferably in sanitation or waste management. Ability to lead field crews and manage schedules in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of service vehicles, portable sanitation units, and related equipment. Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred but not required. Working Conditions: Combination of office work and outdoor field supervision. Brunswick County Public Utility is currently accepting applications for a Plant Maintenance Crew Supervisor to join our Water Treatment team and help lead maintenance and preventative maintenance efforts at our Northwest Water Treatment Plant. Brunswick County's Northwest Water Treatment Plant is a 24 million gallon per day (MGD) drinking water treatment facility located in Northern Brunswick County near Leland, North Carolina. This facility is currently being expanded to 48 MGD and is in the process of adding reverse osmosis as part of the water treatment process. The Plant Maintenance Crew Supervisor is responsible for directing plant maintenance staff in work duties and working closely with the Water Treatment Plant Superintendent to coordinate and schedule plant maintenance activities. The Plant Maintenance Crew Supervisor will also oversee the work of contractors who carry out preventative maintenance and facility repairs. Work includes: Ensuring maintenance activities are documented for all equipment repairs and inspections. Supervising employees in maintaining preventative maintenance program documentation, parts inventories, and tool inventories. Ensuring that the facilities are kept clean, organized, and ready for tours. Document findings on the standardized evaluation format neatly, accurately and adhering to all guidelines. Provide a comprehensive treatment plan including long and short term goals, frequency,duration and treatment modalities, therapeutic interventions, clinical and technical guidelines. Ensure MD orders are obtained for evaluations, treatments, recertifications and discharges. Provide comprehensive treatment to patients utilizing modalities and modifying patient treatment as indicated and adhering to precautions. Document patient’s progress in approved format accurately and timely. Document monthly updated treatment plan in standardized format in timely manner. Document patient’s discharge and in-service as indicated. Document any caregiver or discharge in-services in approved format as indicated. Complete any and all other documentation required by Facility. Document care plans and information needed for the MDS as deemed necessary by the facility. Attend facility and rehab meetings as indicated by supervisor and/or Regional Manager. Participate in facility committee meetings as indicated. Act as a rehab delegate to the interdisciplinary team. Participates in scheduling of patients. Perform screens as indicated. Complete billing timely and bill patients ethically and accurately for all speech therapy services rendered. Cover other therapists’ patient caseload during absence as necessary. Supervise junior staff members or students in compliance with State ST Board and Federal regulations and requirements. Co-sign notes of CFY’s and students as indicated as per state and federal guidelines. Maintain professional relationship with co-workers, facility staff, patients and patient families. Provide in-service education regarding patient care or speech therapy service areas to rehab staff, facility staff and community as needed. Comply with all facility policies and procedures and safety guidelines. Comply with patient confidentiality and Federal Resident Rights and HIPAA legislation. Report to work on time, adhere to scheduled hours and project a professional image at all times. Adhere to productivity requirements, complete productivity reports and submit in a timely manner. Comply with all Facility Human Resource policies i.e. lunch, overtime, sick and time off notification. Maintain a positive work atmosphere by demonstrating and communicating in a professional manner so as to foster positive relations with customers, clients, co-workers and managers. Perform any other duties assigned by the department supervisor, lead therapist or Regional Manager. TheWarehouse Coordinator will perform a variety of work to support the daily operations of the Utilities Warehouse and Laydown Yards. Responsibilities include: Helping to ensure adequate stock levels through tracking and maintaining inventory. Conducting and coordinating cycle counts. Receiving deliveries. Stocking shelves. Operating material handling equipment, including hand trucks, forklifts, etc. Performing building and lawn maintenance. Assisting with accounting functions. Completing purchase requisitions.
