Position Information Division: Academic Affairs Department: McKenzie-Elliott School of Nursing Working Title: Nursing Adjunct Faculty (2024 - 2025) Vacancy Type: Part-Time Temporary Min T/E Requirements: Qualified applicants must have a Masters Degree in Nursing or related field with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and hold unencumbered Registered Nursing license in North Carolina or compact state. FTE: .5 Recruitment Range: Commensurate with Education and Experience Anticipated Hiring Range: Commensurate with Education and Experience Position #: ADJA01 FLSA Status: Exempt Months per year: 4 Primary Purpose of Position Clinical instruction Job Description The McKenzie Elliott School of Nursing invites applications for adjunct faculty for Fall 2024 through Summer 2025. Responsibilities will include orientation to the department’s processes and clinical paperwork, to the clinical facility or facilities, and working with the faculty team to ensure consistency. Management Preference Prior experience in didactic and clinical teaching. Licenses or Certification Required by Statute or Regulation Unencumbered Registered Nursing license in North Carolina or compact state.
