Production Operator $20 - $28/hr. Ossipee, NH We are hiring for the following operator positions: Extrusion Operator Print Operator Plastic Converting Join the Ossipee – Spartech Team! In Ossipee, we take pride in our contribution to many sectors of the Medical and Life Sciences industries. We also make important and unique products for Specialty Agricultural applications. Our products are used globally and are very important to our customers' everyday reliance on high-quality performance and repeatability. The Production Operators are responsible for working safely on the production floor, maintaining throughput, quality, waste reduction, and minimizing downtime. They must be able to assist in all associated changeovers during the printing process. Demonstrates & meets qualification on counting, quality inspecting, and documentation of final print orders. Demonstrates teamwork in all phases of operation. Sets up and starts all machines, checking all controls for adherence to operating procedures. Monitors production and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation. Adjusts equipment parameters when necessary. Operates machinery and handles materials according to standard operating procedures. Examines materials visually or physically to ensure conformance with established standards. Refers issues/problems to lead/supervisor for disposition. Performs all required machine and work area cleaning. Responsible for data accuracy. Documents work completed as required including manufacturing logs, data reports, procedures, etc. Participates in training, retraining, and continual improvement processes and methods. Maintains departmental housekeeping standards. Supports the vision, mission, and guiding principles of the company. Follows all rules, laws, and procedures related to HS&E, ISO, and other regulations. Minimum Requirements: Must be able to read/comprehend written and oral instructions in English; read and comprehend safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and product recipes/materials. Must have mathematical skill to add, subtract, multiply and divide and apply this skill to weights, measures of volume and distance. Must effectively communicate in writing and verbally, in English. Must have manual dexterity for handling production materials. Must have problem-solving skills and some mechanical aptitude. Moderate mechanical skill to enable troubleshooting and/or machine setup and adjustments where necessary on converting machinery. Required to direct and assist co-workers in work functions. Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining the Camp-Resort facilities, structures, and utilities, keeping them operable and in top condition. This is a full-time or part-time position and reports to the Facilities Manager. The Maintenance Technician II is the experienced/journey-level class in the series, fully competent to independently perform duties. This class is distinguished from the lower classification of Maintenance Technician I by the relative independence with which tasks are performed. Under general supervision, performs a wide variety of professional, journey-level duties in the installation, modification, design, maintenance, and repair of mechanical equipment and facilities at the Resort. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES General Duties Monitor and maintain the condition of the Camp-Resort’s property, facilities, and equipment. Respond to maintenance requests promptly. Assist in planning and executing projects from start to finish. Troubleshoot and perform the basic-to-intermediate level repair on various types of equipment: Inspection of buildings, equipment, and systems to identify any issues. Repairing faulty equipment units and damaged structures. Assist with the development and implementation of preventative maintenance procedures. Supervision of heating and plumbing systems to guarantee functionality. Conducting periodic quality checks on equipment and systems to ensure everything is up to standard. Performing general maintenance tasks including landscaping, painting, and carpentry. Administrative Duties Regularly update Facilities Manager on the status of repairs, preventative maintenance, and other projects. Maintains the necessary service records on mechanical and structural systems. Ensure all standard operating procedures are followed for park operation, employee relations, timekeeping, and safety, including ensuring all daily, weekly, and monthly documentation is being completed. EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE 3-6 years of consistent and professional work experience in a variety of trades. Trade certifications and licenses are highly desired. QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Basic computer skills. Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail, speed, and accuracy. Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Required to work nights, weekends, and holidays. Work with minimal supervision. Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, coworkers, and management. Valid driver’s license.
