Project Engineer Summary The Excelize Project Engineer is responsible for managing and coordinating diverse projects from conception to completion, ensuring delivery on schedule and within budget. Key tasks include gathering project information, overseeing offshore teams, managing construction activities, and implementing quality assurance protocols. The role requires experience with scheduling software, project timeline management, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Job Duties and Responsibilities Analyze survey reports, drawings, blueprints, and modeling data to create and manage files and generate working drawings for field teams. Prepare, schedule, coordinate, and manage multiple client projects, including gathering detailed project and client information. Oversee construction, operations, and maintenance activities on-site, serving as a modeler for creating drawings and specifications. Establish project specifications based on performance standards, client requirements, and product design. Provide technical advice on design, construction, and structural repairs. Calculate labor requirements and manage project timelines efficiently. Assess and calculate material, equipment, and labor costs to determine overall project costs. Develop contract documents, acquire quotes, and manage bidding processes. Manage offshore BIM teams, review deliverables, and develop risk management strategies, maintaining QA/QC protocols. Report setbacks and progress to the Project Manager and keep clients informed to ensure satisfaction. Document client meetings and project updates. Proficiency in Navisworks or similar design software is required. Education and Skills Required Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in construction management, civil engineering, or related field, plus 2 years of experience in overseeing large projects, BIM modeling, and using software such as REVIT, Blue Beam, Procore, AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Primavera P6, Planswift, and Microsoft Office. Willingness to travel up to 100%, with all travel costs paid by the employer. This is a full-time, non-telecommuting role.
