Responsibilities Job Purpose The position will lead and develop the team(s) to meet obligations required for power generation at a Pattern Energy operating site. Key Accountabilities Support the Facility Manager in all areas of the operating site, ensuring a positive working environment and maintaining discipline, morale, and employee relations. Lead the use of maintenance documentation, reporting tools, and performance systems for reporting and improvement. Provide hands-on technical support and supervision for wind generation equipment, power delivery systems, civil work, and building maintenance. Promote safety by enabling teams to work safely, recognize hazards, and use human performance tools, fostering an injury-free workplace culture. Manage site-specific and corporate procedures, policies, training, safety programs, and work practices. Support facility public relations and community interactions. Ensure regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and permits, utilizing the CMMS system. Qualifications Required Work Experience Electrical or Mechanical troubleshooting experience with power delivery and wind applications. Proficiency with computers and Microsoft applications. Education Diploma in a technical or business-related field or equivalent experience. Electrical/Mechanical apprentice or Red Seal certification. Additional Requirements Residency within 60 miles of the facility’s O&M building. Ability to climb turbine towers over 250 feet. Willingness to work under high workloads, in stressful and physically demanding conditions, including traveling, climbing, extreme temperatures, and irregular hours.
