Other duties may be assigned.Performs all functions as permitted by the Dental Board of California for a Registered Dental HygienistPerforms ancillary functions of dental assisting, as needed, including but not limited to:-Assists the doctor in procedures as needed-Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays-Prophy’s teeth-Instructs patients on oral hygiene-Charts cavities and teeth with the doctor-Sterilizes instrumentsQualifications Education and/or Experience:Certification for a dental college OR 3+ months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferredCertificates, Licenses, Registrations:Active NM Dental Hygiene LicenseCurrent BLS certification#J-18808-Ljbffr

Assist with the development of individualized treatment plans.Patient Comfort & Communication : Ensure that patients are comfortable throughout their appointments and address any concerns they may have.
