An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in school nursing to support a K-12 educational district from December 8, 2025, through May 21, 2026. This full-time, onsite contract position involves serving a district-wide caseload, addressing the prehensive health needs of students across all grade levels. The role is based in the Texico, NM area. Key Responsibilities: Provide certified emergency response care within the school environment. Conduct health and medical screenings, ensuring attention to student wellness. Administer medications in accordance with medical guidelines and school policies. Collaborate with educational staff and families to support student health plans. Manage district-wide nursing services, addressing diverse health needs for K-12 students. Qualifications: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico. Active New Mexico Educator certification or license. Expertise in certified emergency response training and medication administration. Experience in school nursing, especially in a district-wide setting. Strong munication and organizational skills.
