Production Supervisor Position Summary: Is accountable for directing plant production activities to produce quality products, at the lowest cost, consistent with company schedules and policies to fulfill customer requirements. Controls and effectively utilizes the production capacity, manpower and equipment and outside resources through planning, organizing and scheduling to minimize losses; works within the framework of the budget to optimize company profitability. Oversee the production process Identify internal and external resources needed; Monitor the production processes and adjust schedules as needed; Partner with Maintenance in the equipment selection process Monitor product standards in partnership with Quality dept requirements; implement quality-control programs; Ensure that health and safety guidelines are followed; Identify training and development needs for team members. The duties and responsibilities described are not a comprehensive list of all tasks.
