POSITION DESCRIPTION/SUMMARY:The Maintenance Technician position requires versatile skills, adaptability and an eye to detail and time management. This position requires not only a vast mechanical skillset, but also very patient customer service and communications skills. Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills that are based on both education and experience are key to managing maintenance operations for a multi-million-dollar property. The ideal candidate should be friendly, approachable, courteous, and patient while interacting with residents and entering their homes for required tasks. Courteous and effective communication between all site staff is imperative to the cohesiveness of the team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong sense of responsibility and loyalty to the integrity of the property assets as well as adherence to the mission of providing safe and sanitary housing to the residents. Regular and consistent punctuality and attendance are required for success in this role. Must be willing to work flexible hours including weekends for on-call.This position reports to the Area Property Supervisor.
