JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY The Maintenance Planner is responsible for creating work orders, schedules, and preventive maintenance plans using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) to maintain equipment at peak operating efficiency. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform the following: Creating preventative maintenance task, work orders, schedules, and maintenance plans detailing frequency, labor estimates, parts, and costs. Having expert knowledge of each type of equipment in the plant. Partnering with Maintenance Supervisors to schedule work and maximize labor utilization. Coordinating planned downtimes and working with maintenance staff, contractors, and vendors. Collaborating with other Planner(s) and Maintenance Supervisors across all shifts to develop work plans, ensure their timely execution, and proper documentation. Assisting Part Room Attendant to stock all critical spare parts and ordering parts required to complete all maintenance procedures. Developing procedures using OEM Manuals, P&IDs, drawings, schematics, and industry standards. Maintaining records and files for maintenance management using a CMMS. Creating new procedures using reliability, predictive, and preventative strategies. Establishing goals and KPIs for the maintenance workforce. Generating reports using various maintenance, labor, and cost statistics. Applicability of regulations to facility equipment and processes. Maintenance Technician - Wastewater Treatment Full-time Department: Operations Site Location: Perry As a Wastewater Treatment Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining the wastewater treatment system and all associated ancillary equipment. You will work with managers and other operators and technicians to treat plant waste in accordance with all applicable regulations. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Operate and maintain wastewater equipment: Pumps, dissolved air floatation tanks, MBBR tanks, equalization tanks, mixers, blowers, odor control equipment, instrumentation, samplers, rotary screens, sludge presses, and laboratory instruments. Periodic maintenance using a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) in accordance with regulations, company SOPs, and/or OEM manuals. Using, maintaining, inspecting, and organizing tools required for the execution of maintenance procedures. Completing and retaining records such as laboratory, maintenance, incidents, odor logs, NPDES, DMRs, OEM manual recommendations, and others. Performing daily rounds/checks of the wastewater treatment facility. Utilizing P&IDs, schematics, loop sheets, I/O diagrams, and other drawings in execution of assigned responsibilities and duties. Conducting benchtop chemistry for plant process control and regulatory reporting. Monitoring controls, interfaces, and analyzing historical data to ensure optimal system performance and ability to intervene and make changes to restore system from upset conditions. Required member of emergency response team; ER team. Respond to emergencies involving chemical spills. Participating in audits and inspections; implementing corrective actions from recommendations. Training other team members in routine work on wastewater equipment and ancillary equipment. Perform duties as assigned for compliance with the Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP) and Spill Prevention Controls and Countermeasures plan (SPCC). Job Description Responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing, in a timely manner, the daily activities of Manufacturing. Ensures processes and standard operating procedures are followed. Manages team members and their daily activities to ensure the needs of all functions within the area are met (production, training, FSQ, safety , security, and housekeeping). DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Ensures that all items are properly identified and inventoried. Can maintain current and planned material inventory to ensure FEFO requirements align with production scheduling needs. Works directly with plant scheduler to ensure optimized schedule is achieved. Overseeing direct reports scheduling to optimize labor efficiencies. Responsible for supporting programs, such as but not limited to, HACCP and SQF Audits. Responsible for driving KPI results and performance in operations. The ability to analyze operations data to identify areas of improvement and execute on corrective actions identified through root cause analysis. Identifies, through an initiative-taking approach, potential cost-saving, budget adherence, and efficiency gain opportunities to improve overall operations. Responsible for developing and maintaining a high-level Team member morale and dedication to serving customers. Assists with hiring decisions. Responsible for coaching through personal development plans, and creating corrective action plans when needed. Responsible for appraising employee performance. Maintains a safe and healthy working environment in accordance with all safety, USDA and OSHA regulations. Maintains or exceeds quality standards, performance, and attendance metrics. Responsible for development and adherence to team member training plans and the continued training of current employees to ensure quality, safety and productivity goals are met or exceeded. Ensures compliance with established processes and procedures. Maintains effective internal control over the product flow and account of inventory through area. Qualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE High school diploma or GED required. Required Experience: 3 years or more supervisory experience in food manufacturing industry Preferred: 1 or more years of successful production management experience in the food manufacturing industry. REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES Excellent attendance and dependability Professional communication skills; verbal and written Computer knowledge- SAP (or equivalent), Scale, Outlook, Excel, and MES Detail oriented, excellent problem-solving skills Ability to comprehend inventory counting, good math and accounting skills Excellent leadership skills Additional Information The salary range for this role is $76,478 - $105,155 (Annually). Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, and candidate skill set and experience. Base pay is just one component of Jack Link’s Total Rewards package for Team Members. Other rewards may include annual incentive and program-specific awards.
