Overview Maintenance Mechanic – Full Time Starting at $18.25–$20.00/hr (based on experience). Shift: 2:30pm–10:30pm. Located on our Wellness Campus east of Buffalo, we proudly rank among WNY’s “Best Places to Work.” What You’ll Do Perform mechanical repairs on facility equipment including wheelchairs, beds, carts, pumps, fans, HVAC systems, laundry machines, and kitchen equipment Handle plumbing tasks such as pipe repairs (copper, steel, PVC), drain cleaning, and assembly/disassembly of sinks, toilets, showers, and baths Maintain and repair furniture, doors, windows, wallboard, locks, floor tiles, and ceiling tiles Erect and dismantle scaffolding; perform painting, plastering, and wallpapering as needed Work with electrical systems (single and poly-phase), installing or repairing motors, starters, switches, and current-limiting devices Support facility systems including paging and call light systems, boilers, and fire protection equipment At Brothers of Mercy, our Maintenance team plays a vital role in ensuring a safe, functional, and welcoming environment for all who live and work on our campus.
