Optimize performance and cost efficiency of existing data workflows—reducing compute time, improving Spark job performance, and minimizing data latency. Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to productionize models, streamline transformations, and automate deployment workflows. Implement and manage CI/CD workflows for data and ML pipelines using Databricks Workflows, GitHub Actions, or similar tools. Develop and maintain data quality, lineage, and observability frameworks (e.g., Great Expectations, Monte Carlo, Soda). Proven experience building and optimizing Feature Stores (Databricks Feature Store, Feast, or equivalent). Strong programming skills in Python (preferred) or Scala/Java for large-scale data processing. Hands-on experience with batch and streaming pipelines, model deployment, and monitoring. Solid understanding of Spark tuning, data partitioning, and adaptive query optimization. Familiarity with CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and ML model lifecycle management (MLflow, SageMaker, etc.). Preferred Qualifications Experience with Unity Catalog, Delta Live Tables, and advanced Databricks ecosystem tools. Background in data observability platforms (Monte Carlo, Databand, etc.). Knowledge of NoSQL or real-time stores (Redis, DynamoDB, Druid) for feature serving. Exposure to containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, Dagster). Understanding of segmentation, targeting, and personalization pipelines in marketing analytics environments.
